The moment Eleanora stepped out of Alexander's office, the tension finally loosened. Whatever that meeting was - a battle, a truce or even a warning - it was over. For now.
By the time Eleanora returned to the waiting area of Alexander's company the scene in front of her nearly made her choke on her saliva. She found Valeria almost on the verge of murdering Evander and similarly Evander provoking and literally asking for it.
"Cool cool. Take it easy Ria." Eleanora cut off neatly between them, holding Valeria by her arm and nudging them apart.
"You.. you… how come.. no.. I mean yes." Evander was short on words, finally watching Eleanora properly for the first time.
He was unaware of all the things that had happened yesterday and though he was aware of the Russo's losses, he hadn't gone into the details with Alexander yet and thus it was impossible for him to connect the dots.
