Twist was waiting in the corridor, anxiously looking around him. Lunchtime was over by now, and so far, none of the restrooms had proven to contain valuable information. As Ess had suggested, he had sent Katana into the female restrooms to look for D-dee or any of the students with the larger, multi-colored polka dots, but the results had been negative so far.
There was no sign of D-dee, and the students with the relevant kind of dots weren't cooperative. Frankly, Twist wasn't too disappointed. Katana wasn't too good with speech. She could perform all of his commands down to a tee, but following speech-related instructions wasn't her forte. That function was hard to configure into her brain; to pull it off, Twist would have to order T-96 to use Bewitchment on Katana intermittently. The boy didn't want to rely on that as a crutch though.
