"Latia ... You seem a bit distracted? Don't you think so too Sona ~ " A red haired young girl gazed at a blonde teasingly as her words drew the attention of a spectacled girl, who turned her serious gaze to Latia who seemed to be a bit awkward by the sudden question.
"It's nothing Rias ~ I just didn't have a good sleep last night " Latia lied with a calm smile as she gracefully sipped her tea while not paying attention to Rias's suspicious expression.
Of course she didn't want to tell Rias or Sona about the reason why she was out of it, because she wasn't that close to them and other than the fact that they were all heirs to Noble Devil families there wasn't any prior interaction before, especially with her only recently becoming the Heir to the Astaroth family after the current Heir went 'Mysteriously' missing.
Latia was clearly aware of the reason for his disappearance, as the previous heir, her cousin Diodora had slapped her the day before he went missing.
And there was vivid slap mark on her face which was seen by her 'Fiance' , he didn't say anything other than gently consoling her when she cried.
But the next day Diodora was nowhere to be found.
Latia wasn't an idiot like the Gremory heiress and she could put two and two together and infer the reason.
It must 'him' who did it , but Latia didn't feel afraid at all , on the contrary she only felt more fond and her feelings became an obsession as 'he' was the only person who cared about Latia , not Latia Astaroth.
She was sure that he would rather burn the world than let something happen to her or anyone dear to him.... It was a kind of insanity she found attractive....

Latia felt frustrated, happy , angry , annoyed , she felt a whirlwind of emotions because she had come to Kuoh town and joined this academy because she wanted to study together with him , otherwise she could have just stayed in the underworld.
But when she came here she got to know that, that idiot went to train for 2 years which pissed her off as she was fantasizing about having a lovey dovey school life with him until they graduated college.
Well atleast she could spend her high school with him ... That was what Latia hoped and if this guy went on some stupid training trip while ditching her then she wouldn't talk to him the next time he sees her ... Hmph!
Latia felt a sense of anticipation as she wondered how she should treat him after seeing him face to face after 2 years.
Should she act enthusiastic and jump him ( which she totally was ) , or should she act cold and distant because he left her for 2 years, or should she act calm and graceful.
Latia was struggling with how to greet him as she felt both nervous and excited about seeing him while at the same time she still held a bit of anger towards him.
Although she knew training was important she still couldn't prevent herself from being angry at him , as feelings were irrational and she had missed him a lot.
Should she let go of her petty feelings and just indulge in his affection, which she missed so dearly after so long.
She needed her dose of Vivinium because she was running low on it...

" Latia what are you going to do about Oogi-kun's proposal~ " Rias asked with a knowing grin as an upper class man from High School had asked Latia out and he had went away before she could answer.
" I'll just reject him.." Latia said curtly as she had a calm smile on her face while inside she expressed disdain at this Oki or whatever his name was.
She didn't even remember what he looked like , as to her, everyone other than her Darling was shaped like a Potato.
She controlled herself from lashing out at Rias as Rias was perfectly aware that she was engaged and she had a fiance just like her.
Even Latia hadn't revealed her Fiance's identity to them she had clearly stated that she was very much satisfied with her engagement unlike Rias but Rias still asking such a stupid question like this was offensive for Latia.
Rias might entertain going on dates with a guy as she found it amusing and in a way she found it as a revenge against Riser.....But not her....
