The team gathered around the table, the map of the Gateway plaza spread between them.
"The plaza is heavily fortified," Rahul said, pointing to the security checkpoints. "Malhotra has deployed his entire private army. Patil's police are blocking all access roads. We can't slip in."
"Then we don't slip in," Rohan said, his eyes hard. "We fight. We have the Dharavi gangs. We have the street youths. They want their city back. They're ready to rise."
"Rhea," Vikram said. "Can you build a localized EMP device?"
"I can," Rhea nodded. "If I use the battery cells from the Aetheric rifles, I can create a temporary electromagnetic pulse that will disable Malhotra's heavy weapons for ninety seconds. But you'll have to get the device inside the plaza."
"I'll take it," Rahul said. "I can blend into the crowd of workers near the docks. I'll plant it near the main generator."
"Rohan, you lead the distraction," Vikram said. "Draw the enforcers away from the Gateway steps. Once the EMP goes off, I'll make my run for the vault."
Rohan looked at Vikram, extending his hand. "For Mumbai. For my father."
Vikram gripped Rohan's hand. "For Amar. Let's show them what the shadow's vow really means."
