"Do you have a reliable liver that can be harvested?" Jace threw back.
Suresh: "…."
By the time he recovered from his shock, his boss's car was nowhere to be found.
"The boss is becoming more scary these days," he mumbled to himself as he returned to his office.
On the way to the hospital, Jace quickly typed a message to Grace.
"Got a call from the hospital. Meet me there ASAP."
He didn't know how Grace did it, but by the time he got to the hospital, he met her at the entrance waiting for him with Wendy.
They went straight to the doctor's office.
In the doctor's office, Jace reached out to gently pat Grace's tensed hand which was gripping tightly to her chair.
"We've found three potential donors," Dr Mitchell began.
"Thank goodness," Grace closed her eyes, placed a hand over her chest and exhaled deeply,
"Two are within San Francisco, and the third is out of town. We have made arrangements to bring the out-of-town donor here."
