Rafael had no intention of making it easy for Alexandre, or anyone else, to misunderstand where Hera belonged.
But if he thought a single bite mark would scare Alexandre away, he was sorely mistaken.
Alexandre was hardly the kind of man who would retreat simply because he saw evidence that another man had already claimed Hera's affection.
Even if he saw the mark...
So what?
He had never been afraid of a little competition.
"Ah!" Hera let out a startled yelp when Rafael suddenly bit down on her collarbone.
'Is this man secretly a reincarnated dog or something?' She wondered irritably. 'Why does he love biting me so much?'
"Hera, what's wrong?" Alexandre immediately asked from the other end of the phone. His tone carried genuine concern, but there was a subtle sharpness beneath it.
Of course, Alexandre already had a pretty good idea of what was happening.
He wasn't stupid.
