It was almost as if Adeline was a ghost.
"Ma'am, I'm not sure. We have looked all over the pack, but we can't find him," the maid who followed after the woman shook her head, saying.
Adeline was not sure what was going on, but she began to follow them.
"Oh god, Caesar!" The woman slapped a palm over her forehead. "He just wouldn't sit still."
Caesar? Adeline was left perplexed, but she couldn't follow the woman all the way because, the next time she blinked her eyes open, she was in an empty room, where there was just a piano at the center of it.
It looked similar to the one Caesar had.
Around the very far corner of the room was a brown wooden door—one she found herself walking towards in the next second. She stood before it, reaching out her hand to grab the handle and turn the knob. But her hand went through it and she fell into the room.
Lifting her head inside, she lowered her gaze, only to find...
