Silva started training as soon as everyone managed to build a camp they could live in for the next year. To make it easier, they had decided to build it in the ruins of the Red Lizard Guild. It was fun to see the origins of Fairy Tail, even though the entire city had been destroyed by the attack that killed all the island dwellers all those years ago.
Silva's plan for training was simple. He wanted them to gain every power they were supposed to earn in canon and increase their strength and power by at least ten times.
Powers similar to Natsu's Lightning Flame Dragon Mode and Erza's attack that concentrated every armor into a single sword. They were supposed to get these powers normally in their fights, but because of Karna's influence, they never came across the conditions required to obtain them.
And the part about increasing their power by ten times—most would scoff at how impossible that is and how a wizard's power can't be increased to that level in such a short time.
But Karna knew all about every single person currently trapped on the island. All of them, without a doubt, were the most talented wizards in all of Ishgar or even the world. If Karna handled this training camp right, it wouldn't be wrong to expect them to exceed the already impossible target he had set for them.
Natsu's case was simple, as the thing he was missing was Lightning Flame Dragon Mode, and Laxus was there to complete that step.
Natsu's flames currently had a slightly darker hue compared to before. The God Slayer flames he took had completely assimilated with his dragon flames. Karna knew that Natsu would not have any problems facing God Slayers in future battles.
"You sure this will work?" Laxus asked as he transferred lightning magic onto Natsu, who had his magic emptied on Karna's advice.
"Lightning and fire have a small connection between them, as at the end of the day it involves the rapid movement of atoms to create energy. So I guess Natsu will be able to generate it once he adapts to it. Want to try the other way around?" Karna asked as he turned to Laxus, but he declined, as he felt it would not increase his power to add one more element to his arsenal.
Laxus had actually improved a lot during the travels he had done in the last few months. He had even managed to complete his breathing techniques and could now keep it in a constant state.
Before, the fastest speed that Laxus could reach was when he was in the form of lightning. But at the same time, the form prevented him from doing anything other than being fast. He was unable to attack while in that state, and at the same time he was vulnerable to other elemental attacks.
But the moment he completed his breathing technique and converted it into Thunder Breathing; he was able to physically move at the speeds he had previously achieved in elemental form. This greatly increased his abilities.
Karna knew about the inherited magic deep within Laxus that was slumbering due to the existence of the Lightning Dragon Lacrima. So once he managed to unlock his true magic, he might unlock the red-colored lightning earlier than he was supposed to. So Karna advised him, and Laxus started discussing it with the Raijin to complete the training.
Gray and Juvia were made to train together. Earlier this year, they were shown to be really compatible when using Unison Raid, so Karna advised them to learn from each other's magic. Juvia was able to escape many kinds of attacks using her water body. If Gray managed to mimic it using his ice, he might become like Iceman from Marvel. Juvia could heal from wounds as long as her magic was abundant and there was water nearby, and Gray, if successful, could do the same with his ice. So, to Juvia's excitement, both were made to train together.
Lucy was made to practice her Star Dress and Star Dress combinations. Since Tenrou Island was currently in the timestream, they were able to connect parallel to the Spirit World. So instead of one day in the Spirit World being three months in reality, Lucy's spirits were able to help her while constantly taking appropriate breaks in between.
Levy and Freed were taught many runes and languages they had never known before. Karna's mind palace contained thousands upon thousands of pieces of information that were helpful for runes and script arts. Plus, Karna had also created thousands of spells, which he began to teach them while training their abilities.
For Gajeel, Karna had to use construction and runic script magic to create a pool filled with carbon nanoparticles. He remembered Gajeel turning into a Steel Dragon Slayer due to a combination of Bane Particles and the necessity to push himself while fighting Tartaros. So Karna wanted him to achieve this form early on. If Rogue were here, they could have tried Shadow Dragon Slayer element absorption. But there was no such luck, and no other magic of the wizards on the island was similar to it.
Evergreen was taught to turn her needles into dust that explodes on impact. Plus, her magic using the eye was being trained so that she could deploy it through her attacks and any part of her body instead of just her eyes.
Elfman was taught to control his transformations and combine two or more transformations at the same time. There were no stronger creatures on the island, so Karna decided to train him to be the absolute tank who could survive any kind of attack thrown at him. So all the other wizards were told to direct their attacks straight toward him.
Elfman was supposed to shift into a beast that would defend against the particular attack about to hit him, and while doing so, he was supposed to slowly combine all those forms into a single form that would be able to defend against all types of attacks easily.
A/N – Hope you like it.
