[Which is it, host?] Even the system seemed curious and confused at the same time. Karna was surprised at the way the system was interacting. By now, he had noticed the presence of sentience within the system. He was curious about how that came to be.
"I choose all three of the options to be combined with the fourth."

For a moment, Karna thought he had broken the system with his choice.

Karna almost laughed again, seeing the way the system was reacting. But he knew he had to be clear about his decision right now.
"System, you told me your creation was for me to be strong enough to face the coming dangers of this world and make sure that most of the people survive in the end, correct?"

"So that means there are people I know who are not going to survive till the end even if I chose any one of the paths?"

"I know you are hiding the severity of the coming problems, system, and choosing the paths described by you will only lead to me being able to make sure those close to me alone would survive, right? And even then, there is no guarantee that everyone would survive, as the unpredictability of this dimension is making sure that even your calculations will not accurately predict what would happen.
The fourth option being obscured is because I am adding unpredictability to that path by taking outside elements of the world to be stronger , right?"

[So, what is host planning on doing actually?] the system finally asked in a defeated tone.
"What I want is to make sure I have full control over the future, and that is to make sure that everyone in the guild, and me included, reach the best version possible for them to face the battle in the future.
