Romano stumbled as Thor hit him again, and the Behemoth chuckled as he realized just how satisfying it was to use a bat instead of a sword in combat.
It was far less likely to seriously injure or kill the enemy, which was counterproductive in a dungeon. But in a situation like this, he just needed to subdue his target.
However, what the crowd saw was an invincible Paladin swatting a Blood Knight around the arena like a rag doll.
Only when Romano passed out from the pain did Elder Socrate finally call the match.
"Winner, Thor!
If anyone wishes to challenge him for a higher position, please enter the arena now."
A few of the other Spirit Immortals considered challenging. They had ideas how to get through those barriers. But what if they lost? Wouldn't they just end up humiliated, like Romano was?
It was better to let Thor stay at the rank he was.
Thor slung the bat over his shoulder, and then smiled when a dragon hopped down onto the sand, transforming as he landed.
