Ashbringer wasn't sure what to make of the scene as they were led to one of the Alchemy Labs and settled into comfortable chairs, while a bunch of excited demons rushed around, gathering things for Remi's arrival.
Apparently, the Naga had taken their arrival with a request to share space as volunteering to help with her experiments.
Not that he particularly minded.
She had made many wonderful things when she was in the mortal world, and now that she had better resources, Remi was likely to be able to make even better stuff for them that might actually force them to advance.
He might have just reached Mythic Rank, but he was very close to understanding the Fundamental Rule of Fire, and once he did, he would just need the power to trigger tribulation. If Remi could help with that part, which normally took years or decades for a Demon of his species, then he would be on the fast track to Immortality.
And as he could see, with Immortality came great benefits.
