Adjusting her emotions, Chi Yunxi carried the meal upstairs.
And Chi Jingxuan arrived almost on the dot.
Chi Yunxi had just tidied up the dishes and came downstairs, when the doorbell rang. Opening the door, she was met with an angry Chi Jingxuan and a slightly smiling Qin Yuji.
"Finished eating?"
Chi Jingxuan asked coldly, and seeing Chi Yunxi nod, he immediately let go of Qin Yuji's hand and rushed upstairs.
Before Chi Yunxi could catch up to say a few words, Chi Jingxuan had already slammed the door shut with a bang.
A call of "Jing Xuan" was cut off abruptly. Chi Yunxi looked up at the tightly shut room door, her face showing obvious concern.
"Sis, what's wrong with you guys?"
Walking to Chi Yunxi's side, Qin Yuji asked softly.
Half an hour earlier, Chi Jingxuan had left with a teasing look on his face, saying he was off to investigate, to see if Chi Yunxi had been eaten.
A few minutes later, he returned in a fury.
