When Wen Meiyu arrived at the Chi Family Mansion, she saw the door was open.
As she went inside, she found the entire mansion had become a wasteland.
Faintly hearing some noise from the second-floor bedroom, Wen Meiyu quietly ascended the stairs. When she reached Wang Lin's bedroom door, she saw Wang Lin, dressed in a hospital gown, rummaging through the chaotic ruins.
At her feet was a dusty suitcase filled with many clothes. Although they were all dirty, Wang Lin seemed unfazed. She shook them off to check they were intact, then placed them into the suitcase, mumbling, "These robbers, why don't they just die? Where are my jewels, my bags, my bank cards..."
Muttering to herself, she caught sight of a pair of feet from the corner of her eye, and Wang Lin screamed.
Looking up, she saw who was standing at the door, and Wang Lin heartily patted her chest from the shock, "Sister Wen, when did you come? Why didn't you make a sound, you scared me to death..."
