Olivia's POV
Finally, I thought, watching as the last of my men slipped out of the shadows, their orders clear. Elena was out there somewhere, but not for long. I smiled to myself, feeling a rush of satisfaction. It had taken months of planning, careful manipulation, and biding my time, but I had done it. I had finally gotten rid of that thorn in my side.
Elena was a problem I couldn't ignore. The mere sight of her drove me to the edge, and the way Dante looked at her… I couldn't stand it. But now, she was gone, and I had sent men to ensure she would never come back. If they found her—and I was confident they would—they were to kill her on sight. No mercy, no hesitation.
I felt a thrill run through me at the thought. Dante had been frantic earlier, his anger and worry palpable. But soon, all of that would be behind us. Once Elena was gone for good, I would have Dante all to myself. He would forget about her, and we could finally move on with our lives. I had to make sure of that.
