The moon was full, shining bright over the dark waters of Wano.Dozens of ships cut through the waves, their sails carrying the symbols of the Straw Hats, Heart Pirates, Kid Pirates, and the samurai of Wano. The sea breeze was cool, but everyone's hearts were burning with excitement—and nerves.
"This is it," Kin'emon said, standing proudly at the front of the lead ship. His hands trembled just a little. "Tonight… we take back our country!"
"Yeahhh!!!" everyone roared.
Except, of course, for Zoro—who was asleep. Standing up. With a sword in his hand.
"Zoro!" Sanji snapped, kicking him in the side. "How the hell can you sleep standing up before the biggest battle of your life!?"
Zoro yawned. "Wake me up when we reach the part where I get to cut Kaido in half."
"Idiot cook," he muttered.
"Stupid moss-head," Sanji growled.
And just like that, the ship was already filled with chaos before the war even began.
Meanwhile, Yuta stood beside Maki at the railing, both staring at the glowing island of Onigashima ahead. "That's our target," Yuta said. "Looks smaller than I imagined."
"Smaller?" Maki raised an eyebrow. "It's a whole island fortress!"
"Yeah, but Kaido's ego is bigger."
Maki smirked. "Fair point."
"What about your ego thought. Planning on losing this time as well ?" Maki smirked, irritating Yuta but he understood the girl enough at this to know that what she really was asking is whether he can beat the big bad villain.
To which he can only say he isn't sure. He had ways; he has trained relentlessly. But what will really happen was beyond him.
He can only give his best.
"Why the long face, are you really planning on losing again..." Maki raised one of her brows.
"Hell Nah !"
"I'll Win."
Behind them, Usopp and Nami were busy arguing.
"Nami! I'm telling you, we should just stay back and support from afar! I'm allergic to dragons!" Usopp wailed.
"You're allergic to everything!" Nami snapped. "Shut up and row faster!"
"B-But it's dangerous—"
"Usopp," Robin said sweetly, smiling from the shadows. "If you're too scared, I'm sure we can leave you behind to entertain the sea kings."
"Rowing! I'm rowing!" he squealed, paddling like his life depended on it.
Law stood on another ship, staring at the chaos through his telescope with a sigh. "We're supposed to be a secret alliance… and they're yelling loud enough to wake the dead."
Bepo wagged his tail. "It's kind of fun though, Captain."
"Shut up, Bepo."
Kid's ship wasn't much better. His crew was laughing and cheering while Kid himself grinned at the distant island. "Kaido and Big Mom in one place, huh? Looks like I'll get to crush two Emperors tonight."
Back on the lead ship, Luffy was stuffing his face with onigiri, made by Chopper and Sanji. "This food's awesome! I'm gonna eat enough to fight for ten hours!"
"You're gonna sink the ship first!" Sanji yelled.
"Oi, Luffy!" Yuta called, tossing him a rice ball. "Save some energy, idiot. You'll need it when Kaido shows up."
Luffy grinned, catching it with his mouth. "I'll beat him this time for sure!"
Yuta smirked. "Well don't count on it, I too have some unsettle business with that flying lizard. Might as well give a serious shot at him myself."
"Hey... I'm the one who will fight Kaido." Luffy yelled, face red.
"We'll see." Yuta shrugged it away. Not planning on bickering with him anymore.
As the island drew nearer, the laughter and chatter began to fade. The samurai tightened their swords, Law's crew readied their submarines, and Kid's men prepared the anchors.
Kin'emon raised his hand. "Everyone! From here on, we move silently! We must infiltrate Onigashima without being noticed."
The entire group nodded seriously.
Five seconds later…
"Woooooaaahhh! Look at that giant skull!" Luffy shouted, pointing at the massive entrance gate. "So cool!"
"Idiot!" everyone screamed at once.
"Why are we even trying stealth with him here!?" Law groaned, rubbing his temples.
"Because we don't have a choice," Yuta said, already covering his face with his hand.
The ships slid quietly toward the docks. They could hear the faint echo of music and laughter from Kaido's grand festival. The Beast Pirates were celebrating their alliance with Big Mom. Drunken laughter filled the air, and fireworks exploded above the island.
"Perfect," Kin'emon whispered. "We use the festival to blend in."
"Blend in?" Maki looked down at her crimson outfit. "How?"
A few minutes later, Yuta, Maki, and the Straw Hats were all dressed in ridiculous Beast Pirate costumes. Zoro had fake horns, Sanji wore a fur vest, and Luffy somehow managed to put on a lion mask backward.
"Why do I have to wear this stupid tail!?" Maki hissed.
"Because it's funny," Yuta whispered, smirking.
"And I kinda dig that look on you honestly."
Maki who was about to remark something, shut her mouth. Well its only for a night, she can handle it.
Definitly not just because he like it.
NOT AT ALL!!!
The samurai followed behind, pretending to be drunk pirates while Usopp carried a tray of fake drinks. "Drinks for everyone! Totally not infiltrators!" he announced nervously.
"Shut up, you long-nosed fool!" Franky hissed.
The infiltration was pure chaos—but somehow, it worked. The guards were too busy drinking and laughing to notice.
As the alliance snuck deeper into Onigashima, drums pounded, lights glowed, and the sound of Kaido's booming laughter echoed through the halls.
"The Beast Pirates and Big Mom Pirates… united at last!" his voice thundered. "The world will tremble before us!"
Yuta tightened his fist. "Not for long."
Luffy grinned. "Yeah. Let's crash their party."
And with that, the great raid on Onigashima began—with laughter, chaos, and the ridiculous energy that only the Straw Hat alliance could bring.
