Chapter 341 - Chapter 341 : Whitebeard Fury

The marines was in chaos. Sirens blared across the fleet, echoing over the sea as officers ran through the decks with panic on their faces.

Akainu slammed his hand on the table. "What the hell is going on now?! We're supposed to be heading for Wano!"

They have already left, the swift excecution of five elders order was only possible due to the new Marineford being in the new world.

An entire fleet was set forth with all the strongest fighers of the Marine to take acttion against one of the strongest pirate of the sea, a Yonko.

In the era of Sengoku, something like this might not have taken place. Sengoku was never this agrresive, but right now the Fleet Admiral was Akainu.

He just needed permission to take such a big action, something which earlier the five elders would never let him, however, now that he finally got what he wished for. He will follow through with his absolute justice.

However, it seems that things weren't that easy. Half way to their march to Wano, alarms flare up.

A young navy officer burst into the room, gasping for breath. "Fleet Admiral! It's Whitebeard's ship! The Moby Dick—it just appeared on the horizon! Not just Moby Dick, many of the Whitebeard pirates ships are there. They're heading straight for us!"

The entire room went silent. Even the crackling sound of Akainu's magma fist cooling was loud enough to hear.

"What did you just say?" he growled. A vein popping on his forehead.

"The Moby Dick, sir! It's unmistakable! Whitebeard's flag—clear as day!"

Sengoku sitting there quitely had his eyes narrowed. "Impossible. That old man should've been keeping to himself after Marineford. What is he doing now?"

After the Marineford inccident the Whitebeard pirate didn't made any moves, how come they were there.

How come non saw them coming.

What's their scouts are diong.

What the fuck CP is doing ?

Garp leaned back in his chair, crunching on a rice cracker. "Heh, maybe he's finally decided to punch Sakazuki's head off for what happened two years ago."

"Shut it, Garp!" Akainu snapped, slamming the table again. "This isn't a joke. We can't afford a sea battle against that monster. Not now, not when we're mobilizing toward Wano!"

Kizaru tilted his head, his lazy smile not hiding the tension in his eyes. "Ooh, this sounds dangerous… fighting Whitebeard on the sea, hmm? He might just sink the whole fleet before we reach Wano."

"God's knows he has reason to." Sengoku almost said with a dread creeping in.

Sengoku sighed heavily, folding his arms. "He won't come alone. If the Moby Dick's moving, that means his division commanders are already spread across the area. It could be a distraction… or a full-scale attack."

Akainu gritted his teeth, molten heat rising from his shoulders. "He wouldn't dare attack the Navy again."

Garp smirked. "You underestimate that old man Akainu? He attack Marineford when he knew he wouldn't win, and won. This is sea, no one on the sea fights better than that old man. If I were him, I'd aim my ship right at your face."

That made Akainu slam the table again, leaving a scorched mark. "Enough! We're not running. Assemble the admirals and all available vice admirals. If Whitebeard wants to fight, then he'll find out the Navy's not afraid!"

Sengoku frowned. "Careful, Sakazuki. This is Whitebeard we're talking about. The sea belongs to him. Don't judge him by what he has become now, that old man in our Era was unbeatable on sea."

Outside, the loudspeakers blared over the roaring waves. "All fleets, prepare for combat! The Moby Dick is approaching! Distance—fifteen kilometers and closing!"

Akainu turned toward the sea with burning eyes. "Then let him come. This time, I'll finish what should've been done at Marineford."

The sea rumbled like thunder as the Moby Dick cut through the waves. The air was thick with tension. Whitebeard stood at the bow, his massive frame towering like a mountain, his bisento resting on his shoulder. The old man's eyes were sharp despite the calm grin on his face.

"Gurararara… so the Marines think they can just stroll into my sea again, eh?" Anyone could tell that there was clear anger in his tone. While this area of the new world was indeed under his control, no Yonko actually attack just because someone passes by, especially if they are Marine.

However, the fact that they were Marine was exactly why Whitebeard wouldn't let them go.

Marco, standing beside him with crossed arms, frowned. "Pops, we were supposed to go to Wano, remember? If we turn now, we'll lose days. Kaido's still our main problem."

Whitebeard snorted. "Kaido can wait. That drunk dragon's not going anywhere. And that brat is there isn't he [He's talking about Yuta]. He'll take care of himself. " He turned his gaze toward the horizon. "But the Navy… those dogs are too bold for their own good. Coming into the New World with that red mongrel leading them. They need a reminder who rules these waters."

Izo stepped forward, shaking his head. "Oyaji, you're not still holding a grudge, are you?"

The old man laughed, the sound echoing across the deck. "A grudge? Gurararara! How many of my sons died two years ago. Do you still have to ask me! Of course I'm holding a grudge!" He slammed his bisento into the deck, cracking the wood beneath his feet.

Marco sighed. "We rebuilt you, Pops. Your body's better than ever thanks to Yuta. But don't go overboard."

Whitebeard gave a teasing grin. "Gurararara… then lets flip the board."

The crew burst into laughter, of course that laugther hold anger just as much as the blood they were about to shed. Marco rubbed his temple. "You all act like we're going for a picnic. We're talking about fighting the entire Navy fleet."

Whitebeard smiled, his mustache curling. "All the more fun, my sons. The sea's been too quiet. Let's shake it up a little."

The men cheered. "Yeah! Show the Navy who owns the New World!"

Whitebeard looked toward the distant horizon where the Marine ships were approaching. His grin turned fierce.

"Two years ago, they brought war to my doorstep. This time, I'll bring it to theirs. Full speed ahead! Let's go greet our uninvited guests properly."

The Moby Dick roared forward, its sails swelling as the crew howled with excitement, the king of the sea once again on the move.

The sea was about to turn upside down today.
