Kazumi POV
"Azazel? So you were in Kuou." I happily said. The last time I saw him was several years ago, on Akeno and Yuuma's birthday.
Surprisingly, Azazel was a close friend of my birth parents. Barakiel or rather, father-in-law, was also surprised when the former fallen made the connection. Apparently he noticed the familiarity but couldn't make the connection.
"I'm the one who should be surprised. So you're a devil now?"
"A lot has happened. You heard from my father-in-law that Akeno came back right? Well long story short, someone tried to steal what's mine and I became a devil during that time."
"That's good."
"...Have you, you know?" I asked. Even though it's my fault I had to be adopted by the Hyoudou family, I still looked for them. And then the promise. They said they would come back for me but I'm 17 years old now.
"I found something. So what do you want to know?" He replied while beckoning me to sit down.
"Where they live and what they are doing now."
"Believe it or not, they're living right here, in Kuou. And they had triplets, all girls." That's a surprise. I knew Kuou was big but to think they're just right here, in the same town.
Hold on, triplets? And girls? I have real little sisters!
"I see. Thank you." Still, why haven't they come back for me yet?
Azazel blinked his eyes in surprise. "You're not asking the location?"
"I want to find them... And ask them myself."
"Alright. I actually went to talk with them and... Well I think it's better if you go talk to them yourself."
"Again. Thank you. For everything."
"You're already like a nephew to me so don't mind it."
"So, why did you summon me? I don't think you of all people would need love advice from a devil."
"So that's what most of your contracts are all about. Well actually, the flyers advertised professional love advice. I was curious to meet the person giving the love advice. But I didn't know that it would be you."
"The flyers weren't wrong. I mean, you would rather believe someone who's currently in a relationship with 5 different girls than someone with none, right?"
Azazel stood up and took a bottle of wine and two glasses. "That's true. How old are you?"
"17, a year younger than Akeno and Yuuma." Hearing my answer, he returned the extra glass. Sat in front of me and poured himself a drink.
"Too bad. I was going to offer you a drink."
There was one thing I was curious about so I called out to him. "Hey Uncle."
"Yeah?"
"...How's Vali?" I haven't seen Vali since Yuuma's party.
Funny how the Red Dragon and White Dragon met when they were just kids. I was actually surprised and thought a fight would break out but Vali didn't do anything.
"Why? Are you planning to make her your sixth?" He replied with knowing eyes. To be honest, I was actually tempted to have both of the famed dragons as both of my girlfriends.
"...If I have your blessings." I replied jokingly.
"Sure." Azazel, without any hesitations, replied.
"...I said it as a joke but I didn't expect that reply."
"Honestly, I think it's better. You know she's been obsessed with becoming strong right? And lately, she even doubled her training. Have you been training your sister? Vali might ask for a fight between the heavenly dragons."
"I haven't met her in a while so I don't know how strong she is. But I know my Itsuki won't lose." Not with my training and items. Itsuki's ability to boost much faster rather than the normal 10 seconds is a game changer.
Oh yeah, Boost cannot affect the items. By that logic Divide wouldn't be able to do something about those items as well.
"You're very confident. Is that the power of a sis-con?"
Naturally, I have no plans on telling him my trump cards. He may be someone I trust but I can't just tell him everything about me.
"That's another reason. And remember how the two of them got along so well? This may actually be the first time where both wielders of the heavenly dragons wouldn't clash."
"That's true."
When I met Valina, I could feel Albion was already awake, just like Itsuki's Ddraig. They got along so well both Azazel and I was wondering if they already knew each other.
"Oh yeah. Do you have anything else to do today?"
"This is my last contract for today actually." Unless Rias and Akeno prepared more for me to complete.
"I see. Want to kill some time with me?"
~°~°~°~
After my contract work with Azazel, I returned to the club room. There, I found Akeno and Rias napping.
Smiling to myself, I went up to them and shook their bodies slightly.
"Akeno, Rias, let's go home."
"...Okay," Rias replied groggily. Recently she's been laid back. Not that I dislike it about her.
"Did you have fun?" Akeno asked, noticing my good mood.
"Yeah. Azazel was my client this time."
"He is?" With a surprised tone, she replied. With a surprised tone, she replied. She never knew him personally but I think father-in-law's stories may have given her an idea of who he is.
"Azazel?! You mean the leader of Grigori is here?!" This time, it was Rias' turn to be surprised. As the ruler of Kuou, she must be notified especially those of supernatural visitors.
"You don't need to worry about him, he won't mean harm... Probably."
"I know. But he still needs to comply with the proper process."
"I'll tell him that if I meet him again."
~°~°~°~
"Still, to think that my birth family lives nearby... Surely I would find someone with silver hair too."
"What are you thinking about, Kazumi-kun?"
"...Nothing. Just how I'm lucky to be with all of you."
"We feel the same."
"Thanks. Actually, Azazel told me that my birth parents also live in Kuou."
"Really?!" Akeno shouted. Why is she more excited to meet them than me.
"I thought you guys knew. You know, ruling over Kuou? A fallen angel with silver hair won't be that hard to find."
"Yes but only those who are scared of my brother. People like Raynare, Freed, and even Azazel got in. Unlike the latter, we knew their movements." I mean it's Azazel we are talking about.
"I'll check the files again tomorrow. Maybe Rias and I just overlooked something."
"Thank you."
"I also wanted to meet your parents so there's no need to thank me."
"I could have my familiars look for them. Any discerning features that could help?" Rias asked.
"Well, Azazel told me that they also had triplets so maybe we could use that instead of the hair color?"
"Okay, but just to be sure I'll have my familiars look for both features. We'll find them much faster that way."
"I really can't thank both of you enough." I replied. I'm really grateful.
The truth is, I don't mind finding them myself but if my girls offer their help, then I won't refuse. And I need time. I need to prepare myself.
What if they truly did abandon me?
What if the reason they didn't come back for me is they have forgotten about me?
Thoughts like that crossed my mind. 17 years is such a long time.
"Kazumi?" I heard Akeno calling out for me.
"Y–Yeah?"
"You're thinking about them aren't you?"
"Yeah..."
"Don't worry, I'm sure they're just as nervous as you are."
"Yeah, I hope so too."

Another one done. Let's go.
Something I haven't told you all about is that there's a rewrite or rather, a revise of this story. Just a few changes like Kazumi is no longer a Hyoudou. His birth family lives just near the Hyoudou family. And other small changes.
Alright that's it for now
