The flames licked the tender meat, sizzling with oil.
The Big Tiger, drooling, stared fixedly at the grilled meat, its big copper bell-like eyes filled with intense focus.
When the meat was seventy percent cooked, the Big Tiger let out a roar, reminding Mo Hua:
"It's ready!"
Mo Hua then stopped the fire and "offered" the grilled meat to the Big Tiger.
In face of such deliciousness, the Big Tiger wasn't afraid of the heat at all and devoured the whole piece of grilled meat in three swallows, its big eyes narrowing to slits, seemingly enjoying it greatly.
Having received Mo Hua's "offerings", the Big Tiger's resentment for Mo Hua's year-long absence dissipated with the aroma of the grilled meat.
Only then did the Big Tiger officially "forgive" Mo Hua.
