The sea shimmered, and Yoshikawa Sayuri stood on the flybridge deck of the yacht.
She could see an island not far away.
A snow-white beach spread out on the other side of the island. Beyond the dense jungle loomed a magnificent-looking castle.
It was even more beautiful than the castle she had seen at Disneyland.
"Maggie, is that your family's island?"
She was shocked by the sight, feeling as though she had boarded a yacht and accidentally wandered into a fairytale world.
The sky here was so blue, the water so clear you could see the bottom, and the bright sunshine made every grain of sand on the beach glitter with a silvery light.
Dozens of seagulls were flying freely.
She had been to Okinawa and Kanagawa with her parents, but the scenery in those places couldn't compare to this small island.
