"Playing dumb with me, huh?" Lilith pinched Wu Heng's waist slightly and then said, "You went to the Holy Hall, didn't you think I wouldn't know?"
Wu Heng chuckled, knowing this couldn't be kept a secret, so he simply said, "I didn't want you to worry!"
Lilith's face was cold, her voice carrying a hint of grievance, "Afraid I'd spill the beans? You've been hiding it from me all along!"
Wu Heng immediately held her hand, pulling her onto his lap, "How could I! I was just afraid you'd be put in a difficult position."
Gently rubbing her palm with his fingertips, he continued, "If I'd told you in advance and the association asked about it, you'd feel awkward being caught in the middle."
"Hmph, so many excuses." Lilith turned her face aside, but the tension in her shoulders relaxed a bit.
Wu Heng seized the opportunity to hug her waist tightly, "What's our relationship like? I couldn't possibly keep it from you."
