The Great Elder at the head of the table looked over, rubbing the scepter in his hand, "Shanaela, you have the keenest insight in business; do you have any suggestions?"
Shanaela pretended to ponder for a moment, "I can negotiate with Wu Heng on behalf of the Wood Elves, but I'll need some leverage."
The Great Elder mused, "Then let's build 20 more Spirit Awakening Churches."
"50 churches, 20 doesn't show enough sincerity."
"No way." The Great Elder shook his head, "The Archbishop of The Holy Court has protested several times, at most 30 churches, we can increase later when given a chance."
"Alright, I'll try to ensure the Consortium's business won't affect us here," Shanaela agreed.
The latter part of the meeting discussed some trade details.
Before the meeting adjourned, the Third Elder suddenly laughed, "Shanaela, why not let the Great Elder officiate and bring about your marriage with Wu Heng?"
