Tabby Teller abruptly lifted his head from his meal, looking at Ranulf Perry's mom with a strange expression.
Pregnant?
Ranulf Perry's mom gently rubbed her belly, seeing Tabby Teller's bewildered expression made her want to laugh.
She tried hard to suppress her laughter and asked seriously, "Can't you tell I'm pregnant?"
Tabby Teller nodded and then shook his head, seeing her particularly big belly, but couldn't believe she was pregnant.
After a long pause, Tabby Teller spoke again, "Congratulations."
"Thank you, in-law." Ranulf Perry's mom smiled indifferently and sat down to eat with Tabby Teller.
Thinking she should return after eating, she ate especially slowly.
Sending each grain of rice into her mouth, she even hoped to keep eating, that the rice in the bowl would never run out.
A sob choked her throat, she felt so sad she wanted to cry.
