As Mrs. Perry spoke, her sadness grew, and the smile on her face vanished immediately.
Tears trickled down, landing on the back of her hand, cold and chilling.
"Tabby..."
She called out softly.
Her throat choked up, unable to utter any other words.
Initially, she didn't want Tabby Teller to know about her pregnancy.
Now she desperately wished he knew she was pregnant, that they were about to have a child.
If he could be happy and wake up, how wonderful that would be.
Two women comforting each other is much better than crying alone in hiding.
Claudia Ross wiped away the tears on Mrs. Perry's face with a tissue: "Mom, don't cry. Dad will surely wake up to see your child being born. Dad wanted a child so much, even though he can't speak, he's happy inside!"
Mrs. Perry nodded with tears in her eyes: "Your dad often mentioned wanting me to give him a child; he loves children very much."
Scenes from the past replayed like a movie in her mind.
