Bai Xue stayed in a VIP ward, so luxurious it wasn't much different from home. You could cook here, and it felt just as free as being at home.
After Bai Xue rested and woke up, she discovered a strange issue: the father and son duo who had always longed for a daughter and sister didn't seem very enthusiastic about playing with her. The babysitter was the one caring for the child, while the two of them were busy with their own things aside from taking care of her.
"Why aren't you playing with your sister?" she asked.
"We are playing with her!" the father and son replied in unison.
"Do you think I'm blind or easy to fool?" Bai Xue rolled her eyes at them.
The two fell silent at the same time.
"You seem like you don't really like your sister, why?" Bai Xue was baffled by this. Hadn't they been eagerly awaiting her birth? Why didn't they seem to like her now?
