Bai Xue received news of Su Dongkun's death and rushed to the hospital, worried for Su Yan.
She saw Su Yan kneeling there, hunched under the dim light as though a mountain was pressing down on his back.
"Miss Bai, you should talk to Mr. Su and persuade him to quickly arrange for the death certificate to be issued and the body moved to the morgue. The man is dead, there's no point in him keeping vigil like this," advised the hospital director as Bai Xue was about to enter the room.
"I know, don't worry," Bai Xue responded and went in, closing the door behind her.
Su Yan continued kneeling as if he didn't hear her come in.
She walked over and gently touched Su Yan's shoulder, "Su Yan, don't be like this. Those who pass can't be brought back. His death might actually be a good thing for him."
Bai Xue felt no sorrow over Su Dongkun's death; she was even a bit angry. She was mad he was just dead! Mad his fate was much too easy!
