Qin Sisi and Jiu Ge both fell silent, an eerie quietness enveloping the atmosphere.
Li Li stood by the door, her head lowered and eyes downcast, thoughts unknown.
After a long pause, Jiu Ge asked softly, "What do you like about Ye You?"
Qin Sisi pondered over it. What did she like about him? His handsome demeanor? His noble status? His strong mana?
It seemed like all of these, yet none of them.
Finally, Qin Sisi shook her head and replied, "I can't really explain it, it's probably just a feeling!"
A bitter taste rose in Jiu Ge's heart, and he unwillingly asked, "Is it because he's the prince?"
Qin Sisi shook her head again and said, "When I started liking him, I didn't know he was a prince."
Jiu Ge wanted to say more, but suddenly, cries of pain echoed from outside, very near Jiu Ge's residence.
