The Chief Mansion of the Changkong family is divided into two parts: the eastern and the western. The buildings in the eastern area are tall and luxuriously decorated; it is the residence of Mei Ji and Jiu Ge, where the four grand elders and some high-ranking members of the Changkong family also live.
The western area has relatively low structures with simpler decorations, mainly housing the guards of the Chief Mansion. The young men and women captured to be sacrificed to Mei Ji are also imprisoned in this area, along with some criminals who violated the laws of Midair City.
At the western end of the Chief Mansion's western area lies the Soul-breaking Cliff. Every day, young men, women, and criminals are escorted to be fed to the Blood Eagles.
