At 10:30 PM, for a college student, it is practically a nighttime paradise. You can go on dates with your boyfriend, sing karaoke with your girlfriends, find a textbook you like in the library to read all night, go on outings with friends from the student club, or even just chat with your dorm mates about mundane topics. Which professor's class is more boring, which basketball player is handsome, which girl is the most beautiful, or the hobbies you like.
These were her fantasies before entering college. In the month after she started college, she did indeed enjoy such times, but these times only lasted a month. Her true freedom at college only lasted a month.
