Jian Yi knew she'd been scared badly and was lacking a sense of security, that she had to do this to feel at ease, so no matter what requests Mo Xunxun made, he would go along with her.
Downstairs, Mrs. Mo was holding a bottle, coaxing little Pingan to drink milk, but the little guy kept shaking his head and refused.
Seeing Mo Xunxun, Mrs. Mo let out a breath of relief. "Xunxun, come quick. This little fellow really knows people now. If it's not you feeding him, he just won't drink."
Mo Xunxun laughed. "Of course. Pingan is closest to me."
Mo Xunxun took Pingan and fed him with the bottle. Sure enough, once he saw it was Mo Xunxun, Pingan cooperated very nicely.
Mrs. Mo tapped Pingan on the forehead. "You little ingrate. You two wait a bit, I'll go warm up breakfast for you."
Jian Yi sat down beside Mo Xunxun. "He's called Pingan?"
"Mm, Dad gave him this nickname. Pingan—no other wish, just that he can be safe and sound."
