Ming Mei carried Yousheng to the living room, to a play area set up especially for him, filled with various building blocks, car models, rattles, puzzles, and a toy train.
"Yousheng, play with your brother, remember, don't be spoiled, don't cause trouble, okay?"
Xizeer frowned, speechlessly watching Ming Mei. Was he supposed to play with these fancy toys?
He'd stopped bothering with these things centuries ago, okay?
Xizeer frowned and kept watching.
Ming Mei kissed Yousheng's little face, glanced sideways at Xizeer, gathered her courage, and quickly pecked him on the cheek. Before he could react, she said, "Mom's going to make lunch for you guys, you both need to be good, okay?"
After speaking, Ming Mei hurried away.
Seeing Ming Mei flee, Xizeer couldn't help but find it a bit funny. Was she worried he'd get angry?
