Xia Zhisu seemed genuinely upset about Ling Chuan annulling the engagement.
Li Xian immediately rushed forward, blocking Ling Chuan, "Aunt Ling! Stop hitting him! Brother Ling... he has someone else in his heart, there's nothing I can do!!"
Xia Zhisu immediately stopped, "Xianzi, you see, this son is just so disobedient! Liking someone, not even ten oxen can pull him back! You've truly suffered! Aunt really feels for you!!"
Li Xian nodded quickly, "Aunt Ling, it's okay! I'll back out! I won't make Brother Ling feel awkward!!"
She honestly didn't want to say that.
But Xia Zhisu kept hitting Ling Chuan, and she couldn't do nothing.
"Xianzi is willing to back out, aren't you going to thank her properly!?" Xia Zhisu struck again.
The blow came so fast, Ling Chuan couldn't even dodge.
Ling Chuan couldn't bring himself to say thank you for something like this.
Li Xian didn't expect it, her eyes red, she picked up her bag and said, "Aunt Ling, Brother Ling, I'm leaving now!!"
