"Get some rest early!" Ye Chenxi stood up and said, then walked past Tang Fei, heading upstairs before her.
Tang Fei stayed where she was, staring blankly at his figure as he ascended the stairs. For a moment, she couldn't figure out what he was thinking.
He wasn't angry at her, and even seemed to lack the previous fury and indifference.
Could it be that he's become numb? That he even finds being harsh with her boring?
Tang Fei didn't follow him upstairs, instead, she sat back on the living room sofa.
The matter of the photo constantly troubled her mind; she had no clues at all, so how could she investigate the person?
She lowered her head in dejection and let out a deep sigh.
Just then, her phone rang.
Tang Fei looked up. On the coffee table was Ye Chenxi's phone. She glanced upstairs again, seeing that Ye Chenxi wasn't there, she moved over to check the caller ID.
It was her father calling.
Tang Fei didn't hesitate and immediately picked up the call.
