Ye Chenxi and Tang Feifei exchanged a glance, an unspoken tension that Chi Zaozao couldn't see in their eyes. Then, they both smiled, and Ye Chenxi said, "We have some personal matters to attend to, so we plan to go out now and skip dinner."
Tang Feifei also said, "I'm really sorry, Mom."
Chi Zaozao looked at these two kids. Though their expressions seemed a bit odd, their hands were held tightly together, so it should be fine, right?
She didn't force them and smiled, "Alright, since you have things to do, go ahead, but don't forget to have dinner."
"Okay."
Both nodded in agreement.
Under Chi Zaozao's watchful eye, they turned around, walked towards the car parked not far away, opened the door, and got in.
As he fastened his seatbelt, Ye Chenxi's voice, cold as ice, floated over.
