I keep forgetting that since this is now my new reality, video games logic are often didn't work here.
The answer to my dumb question can not be anymore obvious.
If the Nincada is fainted, then how can it lead the party to help everyone to escape or avoid the encounters with the wild Pokémons?
.....
Let's set aside the mentally challenged question that I have asked to the girl earlier.....
Now, with victory in our side, I am now become even more confident that we can take on the First Gym by now.
Especially after I have defeated someone who have already got the badge from that Gym.
"Aaahhh, Blast! I am losing now!" Homura make a cute cry as she shouted out her frustration after she finished wiring her betting money to me.
"I don't expect I can meet with a strong trainer like you out here, yaaah, that was a good battle, do you want to trade our numbers? If we are nearby, we can go challenge each other every now and then." Homura asked as she take out her own PokeGear.
Yeah, that's another convenient feature provided on our PokeGear.
Once we have got a PokeGear contact information from someone, we can know their location (or at least, their PokeGear location) at anytime we clicked on their contact info.
Though this feature only give a general location like "Town X", "City Y" or "Route Z", but still, this kind of feature enables us to know if we have any of our fellow trainers in nearby location.
We can also make a call or send a message to challenge them to have a Pokémon Battle with us.
Huh? By the way, Homura's PokeGear seems to be a custom made, it have a traditional style with the foldable gadget shaped like a double bamboo scroll instead of looking like a certain handheld game console.
With the colour of green, white and golden brown like a fresh bamboo stalks, Homura's PokeGear looks pretty cool actually, I bet that every Trainer who is also a Japanese Culture enthusiasts in this World would want to have their PokeGear being modeled like that.
"Oh, do you like my PokeGear model? It is a specialty from my Hometown, you know. But even in there, there are only a few amount of people with certain background and occupation who can get this kind of PokeGear." Homura who sees how I looked at her unique PokeGear explained about her gadget with a smug smile on her beautiful face.
She must be feeling proud to be one of the few people who can get a PokeGear with such a unique model on her hands.
Hngh~! Let's set that aside for now.
Homura's cute smile on her face that pushes upon her tender, plump and peachy cheeks make them looks so tempting to be pinched around with my fingers 🤤🍑
Homura-chan, can I pinch your cheeks? I can, right? No? Oh, that's too bad.....
Maybe on our next challenge, I will add this term: "the winner can pinches and play with the loser's cheeks" in our betting.
Hey, it's not like I am asking her to do something illegal, okay?
Besides, it's not like me forcing my way to her, if she don't want to, she only need to win the battles.
Or maybe she would stop challenging me.
Yeah, like Giratina's plane it is, no way in the distortion realm that Homura will back away from the challenge that she have set on to herself.
Anyway, me together with Kotonoha have exchanged our contact info with Homura and along with that I also got some personal details about her in her contact information.
Nothing much though, only some general information like where her hometown is and when is her birthday, something like that.
And it's only now I just realized that her birthday is just one day before my Kotonoha's and that her hometown is Oreo City.
If I am not wrong, the Ninth and the Last Gym before we are facing the Big Five (Elite Four plus the current Champion) in the Pokémon League is at there, right?
"Oh, Homura, so you have come from the Oreo City? Isn't that the City where the Dark type Gym that give out the Shadow Badge is located?" I asked Homura with curiosity.
"Oh, yes, so you have already know about that place which is so far away, huh? You sure have done your information gathering well, Jovanna-kun. And yes, that's true. My Hometown do have a Pokémon Gym there." Homura answered my question with an obvious twinkle in her eyes that is as green as a moss jade.
"I see that you have already collected the Stone Badge from the Cupcake City. So I take it that you come here so far from the City that hold the Last Gym on its place to the City where the Gym which has been supposed to serve as the first challenge for the trainer is located as part of your training journey?" I asked Homura again.
The fact that she have come from the City where the Last Gym is located to the farthest end of the spectrum here just to begin her journey as a Pokémon trainer still baffled me and Kotonoha.
"Well, I can't help it. The Ninth Gym in my hometown are filled up with strong people. I won't stand a chance to get their Badge with my current strength and the Pokémons I am currently have." Homura said with a little sigh coming from her tempting lips.
"So in the end, I am being transferred by a Teleport from my family's Alakazam to this place to begin my Pokémon Journey." Homura give us a short explanation about her situation.
Hmmm.... I think I have read about this somewhere in the pokenet before.
In fact, every year many young and nearby trainers who comes from the City that have a more difficult Gym to challenge at the start in their place tends to do the same, going to this place or straight to Cupcake City where the first gym challenge is supposed to begin with by either getting Fly-ed or Teleported by their family's Pokemon.
Some people even make a business out of it, giving a private transport service either by using their Flying or Psychic Pokémons.
Of course, the price would be pricey compared to using public transportation like a Bus, Military Truck, Airplane or even a Ferry.
"Sooo, now that we have finished with our rest, what will you do, Homura? Do you want to go with us to the Cupcake Town or you already have another plan in your journey?" I asked Homura aa me and Kotonoha have begin to prepare to go out and continue our journey to Cupcake City.
"Hmmm..... Well, to be honest, I am a bit bored traveling alone, so if you don't mind, I also want to join in. Ah, don't worry, I can also help with gathering food or even preparing fire." Homura answered us with a big smile.
Ah, it is only now that I realized, all this time, she is alone on her journey as a Pokémon Trainer.
Well, I just hope we won't have an awkward moment later at night when I and Kotonoha doing some wild things inside our tent.
Hey, as a traveling ninja, Homura should have her own tent by herself, right?
And even if she didn't have a tent, how did she stay in the wild until now? She must be capable of making her own shelter at night like in those survival TV show as a shinobi who have been trained since she is a child, right?
There is no way that she would travel nonstop day and night from one city to the next city without resting for the night, after all.
That's bad for health, and also it is very unsafe as inadequate amount of rest would lower your level of awareness and combat prowess, no matter how much you have trained yourself.

[ ] Author's Note [ ]
A. Back in the previous generation, Protean is an Ability that causes the Pokémon to change its type to the type of a move that it is just about to use. The type change will happen before the move is used, allowing the Pokémon to gain STAB on every damaging moves that it used.
However, now ever since the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet generation, Protean and Libero (which is basically Protean but named differently) has been nerfed to instead changing every time the move is used in the past, to once per battle on the present day.
I still decided to use the good old Protean and Libero effect from the past, though. Because they are awesome and bad-ass 😆🍻🤣
