The Great Hall seemed much more crowded than usual; perhaps it was because the delegations had different colored uniforms that stood out so clearly against the black of the Hogwarts' robes.
Now that they had removed their furs, the Durmstrang students were revealed to be wearing robes of a deep blood red.
After they had finished eating, Lucifer had been engaging in conversation with his fellow Gryffindors when suddenly, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
As he turned, his jaw dropped slightly.
There she was... Eve
Her appearance caused Lucifer to react as though her arrival earlier had never happened.
He was shocked to all hell; he thought he had, at least, an hour or so before he had to face her.
"Hey Luce," she beamed as she took a seat next to him without an invitation to do so. "It's good to see you! How've you been?"
Lucifer offered her a goblet, and became nervous, "I am fine obviously. You look great, same as you did back then."
Hermione was watching them with narrowed eyes. She didn't throw a knife though, not yet atleast.
"Thank you, so do you. Better even " Eve said while sipping from the goblet.
Hermione scoffed from beside him.
"Oh.. Well I must say this is quite a surprise, you here .... Back here on this Earth, how?"
"Found a way out of Heaven," Eve gave back her response by looking up at him shyly.
"I didn't think that was possible ...for Humans," Lucifer said looking at her, trying to control his own emotions.
"What can I say ? I have always been a bit of a rule breaker but you know that" Eve said coyly.
"I do" Lucifer smirked.
"Stepped over, the next thing I knew, I was waking up on the beach last year, tried to find you but couldn't and then Fleur found me, she tried to help me in finding you but we never got any luck. So I stayed there with them, and it turned out she was magical, wizarding world God created hundreds of years ago, and I too had Magic, so her family took me in, and taught me to control it but then I saw your Name in the paper, then this opportunity came, and Fleur got permission from Headmistress to bring me here, at Hogwarts...."
Eve started to ramble on her past adventures, giving a brief once over.
"Right, I have to thank her properly for helping and taking care of you. And Adam, where is that Barrel of Laughs?" asked Lucifer drinking form the goblet.
Harry, Ron and Hermione were listening to their conversation thoroughly.
Hermione more than them.
"Still , up there. Where everyone else is so .... Happy" Eve said looking distantly.
"But, not you," Lucifer obviously noticed the sadness in her tone.
"I always felt like, something was missing. People always forget I didn't choose Adam, I was created for him, turns out. .. .....an arranged existence kind of takes sparks out if things. Yeah we got along just fine. But I don't think he ever loved me , the real me you know," Eve said with small tears in her eyes.
"Yeah, it hurts for not being accepted who you are, I-I would imagine," said Lucifer giving her a sad smile.
Hermione looked like her heart was breaking into pieces, seeing him hurt.
"You know i have been in Heaven, longer than any other human and let me tell you paradise can get a little .....predictable."
"Preaching to the Choir," Lucifer said now raising his goblet.
"So, I started meeting every souls that was coming through those pearly gates, just taking in all their incredible stories, you know about ... everything that was going down here and then, then I realised something huge, Luce. What I truly desire the most can only be found down here," Eve confessed her feelings.
"And....what is it you truly desire?"
Eve took a moment to give her response, thinking about what she needed to say, "Excitement you know, Thrill, some good old fashioned fun, do a lifetime or two of it!"
"So, you are telling me you came all this way, just to party and have fun?"
"And you know see my..... Ex."
"Excuse me, I think it's gone long enough. Don't you have to go over to see your other friends?!" Hermione snapped at her.
Lucifer ignored her for a second, "Well, if you need anything. Just ask me."
"Oh, that's so sweet of you Luce. Thanks!" Eve kissed his cheek for good measure.
"Right, no problem. It's the least I can do," Lucifer said and looked across the table at Harry and Ron, who were staring back at him with curious, yet intrigued eyes.
"Well, meet my friend Potter. Yes, shocking as it is. I do have some human friends, This is Weasely, meet Eve."
"Pleasure to meet you. So, Lucifer is hanging out with you guys, huh?" Eve said sweetly as she turned to follow Lucifer's gaze.
"Oh, believe us," said Ron, unable to stop gawking, "the pleasure is all ours."
Eve laughed as Harry nudged Ron hard in the ribs, but a loud fake cough from Hermione pulled the boy's back to reality.
Lucifer turned in Hermione's direction and smiled slightly, trying to relieve some tension, "And this is Hermione Granger."
"Lucifer's girlfriend! I am sorry to be rude, but who are you?" Hermione asked rolling her eyes.
"Oh, I think I heard you the first time! I am Eve," She said while pushing her hair back.
"Well, that doesn't help? Wait, you mean Eve - Eve as in Adam - Eve?" Hermione asked confirming.
"I still can't believe people put his name first. This is supposed to be more progressive times," Eve scoffed while shaking her head.
"So, You and Lucifer were together and you know who he really is?" Hermione said, hiding every part of venom in her voice at the word together.
"M-hm!"
"Well, too bad. He is taken, I am his girlfriend now!" Hermione declared wrapping her entire arm around Lucifer's waist possessively.
She shifted her gaze to the French girl, "Sorry, it's just so hard to keep up with all the things Lucifer and I talk about - still, I don't recall him ever mentioning you. Which is strange, given that we're pretty close, you know?"
Lucifer raised his eyebrows.
"Is that right?" Eve said as an amused smile formed on her lips before she turned to Lucifer.
"I should really be getting back to my friends. Fleur is probably wondering where I've buggered off to, but Luce, I will see you around, won't I?"
Eve shifted her gaze back towards Hermione slightly as though taunting her, "I'm really looking forward for us to get close while I'm here!"
Hermione had clenched her fists under the table - Eve was playing with fire; this can't be good.
Lucifer didn't respond. Instead, he just smiled awkwardly as Eve got up from the table, but she surprised him once again, by bending down to place a kiss on his cheek again, just to be petty.
Hermione muttered, "Stupid bitch" under her breath as she watched the bitch leave with a glare.
'He even named his cat after her!'
Lucifer turned to the bushy haired girl immediately and furrowed his brows, "What was that?"
"Oh, please," Hermione rolled her eyes, "she was practically drooling all over you!"
"Hermione, she hasn't seen me for Thousand Years. Give her some time to adjust, would you?"
"You've got to be joking," Hermione laughed, slightly taken aback, "That was your ex- girlfriend from the beginning of Time!"
"Pretty much...."
"And she clearly can't get the hint, you belong to me now. She needs to back off! I am telling you Lucifer!!" Hermione exclaimed in an angered tone.
Lucifer just gave a long sigh.
Hermione huffed and put her hand on his crotch under the table, and groped, the angry brunette started stroking him over his school robes while trying to calm herself down.
She ignores the slightly hitching in his breath.
Hermione decided this girl would perish in a very painful death.
Ron suddenly said, "You are one lucky bastard, Lucifer. Girlfriend that Hot!"
"Ex-girlfriend!" Hermione corrected with venom.
"What?" asked a very confused Ron.
Hermione said in a matter of fact tone, "That bimbo is his Ex-girlfriend. I am his girlfriend now and will be the mother of Lucifer's children one day in the future!" her grip tightening on Lucifer's already harden shaft, causing him to groan slightly in discomfort.
Ron let out food from his mouth, Harry and Lucifer gulped down their pudding.
While Hermione only having to stamp a girl's foot and nothing more.
