Kimberly's POV:
Katherine! That's my mother's name. My father never called my mother by her name. He would always tell her Cathy or darling or my love. So, I rarely heard her name being called in the house. I heard someone calling my mother's name after so long time. But the name feels like, it came out of his lips so naturally, like he has been calling her name for a long time.
I see his hands laying in the air, waiting for me to hold it. The hands which seem to be rough, like this person has been doing a lot of physical work.
"Katherine! Hold my hands. We need to leave this place," he says again.
He is calling me Katherine. He isn't calling my mother, but he is calling me Katherine.
"Hey! I am not Katherine," I say as I try to stand myself but fall on the ground but he holds my hands and kneels down hurriedly on the ground.
I want to look at him. I want to see his face. Who is he? And why is he following me everywhere.
