His figure disappeared and reappeared right behind Alfred. The hand holding his sword moved quickly upward to strike him, at the same time that one of his acquired abilities activated.
It was the Illusion skill, which struck, creating an extreme wound.
Or rather, the illusion of having created it. The pain. Everything could be created with that illusion.
But Matthew suddenly jumped back and protected himself with his sword. A sword strike hit him just milliseconds before he left Alfred's attack range, and his skill, which had technically been activated, was split in half.
"If your idea of attacking by bringing me here is as simple as that, let me tell you that you're going to fail." Immediately, Alfred lunged at him with an extremely fast movement.
