Having fallen asleep underground inside her small temporary home, Scaly was completely unaware of the fact that the adventurers that had been chasing after her had been scared away by something moving through the large tunnel that her small sleeping spot happened to be connected to.
Although… Even if she knew about it, she wouldn't be able to do much about it given that she had already travelled through the underground tunnel for a good fifteen minutes and would need at least ten minutes to get back out again. Meaning it was unlikely for her to avoid whatever it was that happened to be travelling through the large underground tunnel and had scared off the adventurers.
If anything, the best course of action was exactly what she was doing right now. Remain quiet without causing any disturbance that might end up getting the attention of the being that had scared off the adventurers.
