- Felix -

"You are all coming along nicely." I murmured at the progress they were making.

The soul energy that they had been using over the last 8 hours had dried up some time ago. Now they were just growing their own energy and completing their evolutions, which should be wrapping up soon.

I grew a little bit stronger as well due to the effects of Food Chain. Their own power from before was already rather strong, due to my power up from the Dragon Factors which also strengthened my subordinates a bit, but now they were even stronger than before.

Each of their appearances shifted slightly. Kurumi's was the one that changed most however.

Saeko had changed the least as her physical form was already ideal for her style of combat. I did notice that her bust did grow slightly larger for some reason, but I wasn't going to question why Saeko's desires went in that direction, nor was I going to complain about something that I would enjoy at a later date.

And almost as if she heard my words, I saw Saeko's eyelids slowly rise. "Felix-sama?" were the first words out of her mouth.

"I'm here." I told Saeko, and it was almost as if I could see the tangible relief flood through her body.

Saeko's lips curved up a bit. "Did I do good?"

I walked closer to her, gently running a hand through her hair. "You did great."

Saeko's eyes softened at my words, and a small, pleased hum escaped her lips, but she couldn't hide the giddy smile on her face. She really was too adorable. She had a tough image as an evil Oni with all of her subordinates; a tough task master or a demon is what they thought of her as, but she really was just a good girl.

I could tell she was still adjusting to her new strength, her fingers clenching and unclenching as if testing their own power. She had grown a lot more physically stronger. I wouldn't be surprised if she could punch a mountain, or a mountain range in its entirety, into smithereens with just her physical strength alone.

"How do you feel?" I asked, my hand still idly stroking her hair. The other two were still in the process of finishing up, but it wouldn't be long for them either. Saeko just had an easier time due to cheating with Cook.

She took a slow breath as she clenched her fists again. "I feel… stronger than ever, Felix-sama." Saeko said in an unusually composed tone of voice; she was usually always super energetic. "I didn't know what it would be like to be like this. I can feel just how different I was. And to think I wished to protect you with my meager strength before."

I smiled. "It's fine. It's the thought that counts. It does mean a lot to me that you are all willing to go such lengths for me, so never change."

Saeko grinned. "Of course Felix-sama!" She said in her usual bubbly manner.

Before I could respond, a sudden surge of energy pulsed through the room, causing the air to hum with power. My gaze flickered to the other two still undergoing their transformations. Their auras swelled, reaching levels that completely dwarfed even my Daemon Duke self.

Clayman would get flicked to death by them like the bum he was.

The auras weren't quite at the level of an average True Demon Lord just yet, seeing as even the weakest True Demon Lord I knew of had over 5,000,000 EP, not counting Dino since he was clearly suppressing his power, but their power was far past the average Awakened.

Thankfully the room could handle all that energy.

Saeko's gaze also snapped towards Raiden and Kurumi.

Both Raiden and Kurumi's eyes opened at once, both making the attempt to quickly bring their powers under control, but they were struggling. Saeko had a far easier time since she bullshitted her way with Cook. What she had wasn't true control, and it wouldn't last forever, but it would work for the time being, so she wasn't blasting her aura all over the place.

It was honestly impressive how far Saeko had managed to stretch Cook's effects. It was an incredibly powerful Unique Skill in Saeko's hands. In the hands of someone more logical, they would overthink things and the effects of their manipulation would be weaker, but with Saeko she just believed something would happen and that belief alone automatically manipulates the Laws of the World so that whatever outcome she wanted, she would get.

The more Saeko expanded upon Cook as a Unique Skill, the more variety it would have as an Ultimate Skill, so it was only a good thing that Saeko was being creative with it.

I hadn't sparred with her in quite some time, but from the recording of her fight with Raiden I saw, both she and Raiden were beginning to get rather creative with their respective Unique Skills.

Raiden's Unique Skill: Maid was even used to basically guide her to take the perfect actions to directly counter Saeko, while Cook also did the same for Saeko. It was a rather even match after Raiden got Maid.

Saeko, as a being with divinity now, had become a whole new race as well, one I hadn't heard of before. She was a Divine Fighter. Unlike a normal Oni like Benimaru or Souei, Saeko had sacrificed all elemental powers in exchange for enhancing every other aspect of herself, especially her constitution.

Ogres, as a species, are actually descended from a Fire Elemental. Benimaru, Souei, Shuna, and all the other Onis were slowly working their way back up that evolutionary pathway, if in their own ways and with their own elements. Saeko, however, abandoned that path entirely.

Instead of a traditional element, Saeko now wielded a more esoteric element, that being Battle.

This element gave her a constitution that was far tougher than most. She was even more physically durable than Rimuru and Luminous now, or at least when not enhanced with any energy, and her EP still fell short of theirs.

As a Divine Fighter, Saeko's Fighting Spirit was also extremely potent. That mixed with her new Divinity would make her tough to fight.

Not to mention, due to her element and constitution, a normal physical attack from Saeko could damage the Spiritual Body, essentially making her the counter to any Spiritual Lifeform who couldn't defend against her properly.

One of her Skills had even upgraded. Her old Intrinsic Skill: Ultraspeed Regeneration had evolved into Infinite Regeneration, giving her some of the best regeneration in this world.

This was the same regeneration I had gotten during my Harvest Festival, and the highest level of regeneration one could acquire as far as I know. It went Infinite Regeneration, Godspeed Regeneration, Ultraspeed Regeneration, and Self-Regeneration.

Infinite Regeneration could regenerate practically anything, even the soul, so long as you don't instantly die and have the energy to actually regenerate.

After stabilizing, Saeko's EP would likely end up around 3,000,000. Her EP increased by more than double, which was excellent for only a Life Reconstruction.

She was no Primordial, so hers didn't immediately ascend to the same level as Arcueid, Megumin, and Lalatina, who were well into the 4 millions now. But with training, she could get there.

Raiden slowly sat up as she looked around in confusion. I imagine she was seeing things in a bit of a different light now that she was a Divine Dragon.

When you reach Divinity, the world just became clearer. Energies were easier to manipulate, the Laws of the World could be touched upon far easier, and more. It was like you were being reborn and only now seeing the world for the first time.

As a Divine Dragon, Raiden's abilities had also increased dramatically. Her physical power was beyond even Saeko's now, and her Lightning had become an even deeper part of her now. She could now summon her Lightning by just thinking of it, similar to how I could manipulate Space just by wanting to.

Her Lightning, when combined with her Divinity, would likely reach terrifying levels of destructiveness. Some kind of Divine Lightning, if you will.

Her ascendency into a Divine Dragon also seemed to have brought her completely in tune with her draconic nature. Her eyes were more slit-like, and some scales formed on her skin while she evolved. Those scales vanished shortly before her waking up, meaning they were something she could control, even in her humanoid form. This was confirmed when I took a look at her new Skills.

They were part of her new skills as a Divine Dragon. Her old Intrinsic Skill: Dragon Scales had become the Intrinsic Skill: Dragon Skin, which let Raiden create a set of draconic armor that was formed by taking in the surrounding magicules. I called it armor, but they were basically super tough scales that scaled higher and higher based on how much energy Raiden could take in and control.

Or she could also supply her own energy, but the Skill worked best when combined with both her own internal energy, and external energy.

As she is now, I think Raiden could create God Grade scales to cover herself in once she gains some more control over her power. Her Draconic form was, of course, fully outfitted with scales, each likely in the realm of God Grade material.

Raiden's true form underwent significant enhancements. Her true form had turned into an Intrinsic Skill of its own, likely due to the fact that Raiden saw it more as a transformation than her natural form. This Intrinsic Skill was called True Form, which was an enhanced version of her old draconic form by many times.

"How are you feeling, Raiden?"

Raiden let out a shuddering breath as she attempted to get a handle on her power. Her Unique Skill: Maid unfortunately couldn't help her like Saeko's Cook helped her since Maid was more combat oriented and calculation based.

"I-I am recovering, Master. I apologize, but I fear I will not be able to undertake my regular duties until I gain more control over this new power of mine." She said as if she had committed the greatest crime in the world.

"Don't worry about it. Take all the time you need to master your new power. I'll even call over Middray for you." Middray seemed to be teaching her well, and he seemed to be enjoying it, so it wasn't like I would be forcing him to do something he didn't want to do.

He seemed to gain genuine enjoyment from seeing his pupils excel. It wasn't just Raiden; he led classes in Milim's territory as well and apparently sometimes Milim had watched over the classes here and there.

Raiden nodded as she let out a sigh of relief.

That did mean that she likely wouldn't be able to come with me to the world of Solo Leveling. I couldn't have her running around that world without good control over her power, since that earth was far weaker and couldn't handle high levels of Aura like this one. I didn't want to have to constantly be trying to reinforce it either if I didn't have to.

The same went for Saeko and Kurumi as well.

Raiden's EP would likely stabilize around the 2,900,000 mark; slightly lower than Saeko's.

Lastly, I turned to Kurumi who had just sat up, her nine tails were gracefully swishing behind her. Interestingly enough, she had managed to control her power well; better than Raiden and Saeko, at the very least, on her own efforts. Saeko cheated, so I wasn't counting her.

Upon closer observation, I could feel that her tails were influencing her power and energy.

Could her tails have gained some more abilities? Maybe the power to safely regulate Kurumi's own power? That would actually be rather incredible.

"Indeed, it seems Kurumi's tails have become the central focus of her power. Her tailed beasts are concentrated there as well as the majority of her energy." Othinus added in.

She had become a Divine Nine Tailed Fox, with a heavy emphasis on the earth attribute, and by extension the gravity attribute.

Seeing as Kurumi's tailed beasts were highly involved with her, they received a power boost with her. They were each around the 100,000 EP level, which was significant, but seeing as they were basically portioned off versions of her own power, it only made sense that they were strong.

Each of their abilities also seemed to have grown stronger, improving Kurumi's control over their abilities like Gravity, Illusions, and whatnot.

Kurumi's appearance also went under the greatest change. Her hair had completely changed color, from the brown hair she used to have to gold. Her tails also changed color, with eight of them becoming silver, and the last one becoming gold.

Her EP would likely stabilize around the 2,700,000 mark.

"How are you feeling Kurumi?"

Kurumi's tails gently swished behind her as a seductive smile appeared on her face. "Ara ara, I am feeling wonderful, Master." She clenched her fists, a light shudder traveling through her body. "With this power… I can become the ideal pet." She finished.

"If that's what you want to do then. You do have the best control among the three of you right now, Kurumi, but you still need to make sure to train it up. Your efficiency still seems to be below what it used to be at, and at this point efficiency is one of the most important things for you three."

All three of them nodded, taking my words seriously. In the big league fights, which these three were in now, efficiency was the name of the game. Most fights at their level would go on for a long time if one person wasn't far better than the other. In these circumstances, being able to last a while is important.

"Now that the three of you are all done, I think it's best if you get to one of the training dimensions and begin working on improving your control."

All three of them nodded.

"Head to one of the temporal ones so that time will go by faster for you." I had created training dimensions that worked on a slightly different temporal axis some time ago, but I had to actively maintain them so they weren't things that were freely available.

This was made possible thanks to Small World.

Once I got all three of their agreements I transported them to the dimension I just created. It would likely take them some time to get their power to controllable levels.

With that done, there were just a few things remaining; the main one being Laplace, or now Sarion I should say.

As I was about to contact Elmesia, a fun idea popped into my head, one that formed due to sensing the presence of a certain homunculus maid nearby once I dispelled the protections I layered over the room.

"Evelyn, please come see me." I said, projecting my voice into her head.

I sensed Evelyn freeze a few hallways away. After a few moments, I got a response. "...Yes, Master."

How funny would it be if I messed with Elmesia via her homunculus and then right after showed up in her city telling her I had her dad ready to go.

"You simply enjoy toying with someone of high standing like Elmesia. You are a sadist."

My lips twitched hearing Othinus' honest analysis. 'You didn't need to say it like that!'

As Othinus and I continued our byplay, I heard a knock on the door. "Come in Evelyn."

The door slowly opened, and in came Evelyn who looked rather hesitant and nervous. Though despite that, I could sense some lingering curiosity and interest from her. Despite what I did to her previously, it was far from enough to really freak Elmesia out. At this point, she seemed to want to keep the whole charade we had going out of her own sense of amusement.

Maybe she thought she could spring it on me as a surprise at some point?

'Haha! You remember that maid I gave you that you've been toying with? Well that was me!' Something like that, then she'd tease me or hold it over my head. I honestly have no clue, I'm just taking shots in the dark.

So far from what I've heard, Evelyn has been doing basic tasks of the maids under Raiden. Using magic to keep everything spotless, maintaining the runes that are layered in various places in my palace, training to make sure she is strong enough, and some other stuff.

"I am here as requested, Master." Evelyn said.

"Thank you. How have you been settling in so far?"

"I have been enjoying myself. The other maids are all rather nice and Miss Raiden has been teaching me… everything I need to know."

I ignored the weird pause at the end of her statement and nodded. "That's good. Now I called you here for a reason."

"Will it be another shoulder massage?" Evelyn drawled out. Though there seemed to be a spike of excitement in her when she said it.

Right, she seemed to like feeling she had some control over me. Erofus.

I pursed my lips. "While that does sound rather wonderful, I think I want something different this time."

Evelyn's eyes flickered with curiosity. "What would you have me do then, Master?" She asked as she stepped forwards gracefully.

A few ideas ran through my head, some that had the potential to get lewd quickly, but I respected Elmesia enough to not pull anything like that on her.

"Hmm, I want you to pamper me a bit then."

She blinked. "Pampering, Master?"

"Yes. You'll give me a foot massage," I said with a wicked smile. "And I want you to make sure to do it perfectly. I've been walking a lot today, and my feet could use some special care." I said shamelessly, knowing that we both knew how bullshit my reasoning was.

Me getting tired of walking a lot? That was blatantly a lie, but Evelyn wasn't going to call me out on it.

The shift in her expression was immediate, a combination of hesitation and mild discomfort, but through Lover I sensed another spike in pride and excitement. I realized it before, but she was a deeply disturbed individual.

Before, when she was giving me a shoulder massage, she seemed to take pride that she had some sense of control over my pleasure, while also enjoying serving me. It wasn't as if she was a drooling submissive like Lalatina. No, that seemed to just be a Lalatina thing.

It was just a new experience for Elmesia, so she was enjoying the "novelty" of it, basically. I was just along for the ride. In fact, I'm the victim in this. Elmesia is the one taking out her debauched desires on me, the victim. I'm just going along with her wishes. Yes, this isn't my fault.

"Your delusions are truly impressive, Master."

'Hush.'

"Oh by the way you'll have to do it while kneeling in front of me." I added.

She stood frozen for a moment, processing what I'd just asked of her.

"...I will do as you say, master." Evelyn said after a moment.

I motioned toward a cushioned chair that just appeared. "Good. Let's begin."

Evelyn hesitated just for a second, then lowered herself to the floor in front of me, kneeling with her hands at her sides. Her cheeks flushed faintly, and I could sense her embarrassment.

I wonder what Elmesia is thinking right now.

- Elmesia El Ru Sarion -

Her lips twitched as she felt what her other self was doing. Felix had to choose now of all times to do this? When her mother was sitting in front of her?

Erald had finally managed to receive a message from her mother saying that she was on her way back to the Divine Tree. It had taken some time, but finally she would get to inform her mother about the situation.

Of course, as soon as they sat face to face, Felix began playing his games with Evelyn. He seemed to derive a unique sense of pleasure from bullying her other self, one that she wasn't sure she wanted to push further, especially with the way her thoughts had been going ever since the first time.

As she was recently discovering, she was one truly messed up High Elf. She wasn't aware she had all those twisted desires inside of her until Felix started messing with her other self.

That meant it was all Felix's fault. He'd have to take responsibility!

Of course, that was if she could woman up and tell him that to his face. She still got embarrassed about such things, despite her age.

She had taken a peak at the situation through Evelyn's eyes and almost drooled at the sight. Felix had used some sort of Pleasure Magic to give himself an allure of some kind that she had to use her all to snap out of.

She could feel the allure had even managed to affect her Spiritual Body through the connection, which quickly made her dampen the connection to Evelyn, if temporarily. She was already feeling the effects of the allure, however, as her thighs rubbed together.

"Fufufu, it's been quite some time since I've seen you so zoned out, Elmesia." Her mother called out.

Elmesia looked back up at the voice, seeing a face reminiscent of her own, the only major difference being their differing hair colors. "I apologize, Mother." She said in a composed manner, quickly regaining control over herself. She ignored the yearning she felt and focused on the matter at hand.

That was truly dangerous. She didn't know what would have happened if she were affected more.

"It's no problem." Her mother waved her off. "But do tell, what's on your mind?" A mischievous grin came to Sylvia El Ru's face, causing Elmesia to internally groan. Whenever her mother got that expression, she would always mess with her.

Elmesia forced a polite smile, though the warmth spreading through her body made it harder to maintain composure. "Nothing too pressing, Mother. Just… matters of governance weighing on my mind."

Her mother's grin only grew wider. "Ara, I know you, my daughter, you care not for such things. Let me take a guess, is it… a boy!" Sylvia said with some excitement.

Elmesia's lips twitched. This wasn't the first time her mother had gotten like this. In fact, almost every time they met, her mother bugged her about taking a concubine or multiple. Her mother seemed to think that she needed companionship. Of course, her mother never forced anything on her.

But it was still a pain to deal with her when she got in one of those moods.

"Nothing like that."

"Fufu, you know better than that, Elmesia. You know I have a Skill that allows me to sense deceit." Her mother said.

Elmesia stiffened slightly. Damn it, she had forgotten about that. She should have known better. Her mother was perceptive in ways that defied logic, and of course she even got a Skill for those things! And worse, she loved to tease. She had gotten her own teasing nature from somewhere else, and her mother was the point of origin.

Perhaps it was only right that she was on the other end of what she often did to others, but that didn't mean it wasn't annoying. It wasn't fair that she had to suffer the consequences of her actions!

Sylvia's eyes gleamed with barely restrained amusement. "My, my, what a reaction. To think my dignified daughter, the great Empress of Sarion, could still be flustered like a maiden in love. Fufufu~ how adorable."

Elmesia felt her face heat up, but it wasn't even the embarrassment this time. The phantom sensations from Evelyn's side were becoming harder to ignore. Felix was being particularly cruel today, his touch slow, deliberate, making sure she felt every little thing through their connection. It was maddening.

He seemed to even be using some sort of passive Pleasure Magic that made her feel pleasure from serving him. Just what kind of Skill was that? It was perfect for dealing with unruly maids! She wanted it!

Elmesia rolled her eyes. "It is nothing like that, Mother." She quickly corrected before her mother got the wrong idea.

Sylvia tilted her head, her grin unwavering. "Oh? Then why is your aura fluctuating so strangely? Your breathing is a tad heavier than normal as well."

Elmesia's lips pressed into a thin line. Curse her mother's ridiculous perception! She needed to regain control of herself before she gave anything else away. Taking a deep breath, she straightened her posture and forced her usual regal expression back into place.

"I assure you, Mother, I am perfectly fine." She could of course cut off the sensation and connection with Evelyn temporarily, allowing the piece of her soul that dwelled inside of the homunculus to take full rein, but that felt like losing, and she wouldn't be losing to Felix again.

A particularly intense wave of sensation crashed into her mind, and she had to clench her fists under the table to keep herself from shuddering. He was amping up his Pleasure Magic to levels she hadn't even known was possible. She was here, somewhat in control of herself, but Evelyn was in a far more sorry state.

Thankfully, Felix realized that he pushed a tad too far as Evelyn was practically mush, and allowed her to leave.

Oh thank god.

She didn't know how much more she could take of that. And to think those were only the phantom sensations of what Felix was doing to Evelyn, and even those sensations far surpassed anything she had experienced in her life.

She suppressed the full body shudder that threatened to engulf her as she recalled the pleasure.

Just how amazing would it feel directly?

She quickly shook her head. Her thoughts going in that direction would only lead to problems.

For now, she needed to get her mother away from this topic, and she knew just how. "Enough Mother, I requested you here for something important."

Her mother raised a brow, seemingly thinking she was just trying to change the topic. "Oh? Serious matters is it? And here I thought you wished for me to take your place again for some time to play around."

In the past, due to how similar they looked, and how many did not know her appearance in detail, she would get her mother to pretend to be her for a period of time so she could leave Sarion and have fun around the world. She was known as a heroine in quite a few places and was worshipped in many villages around the world as well due to these youthful indiscretions of hers.

"Is it about you allying with those Demon Lords then? If so, there was no need to ask for my approval, Elmesia. You are the ruler here. I trust your judgement to leave the fate of my descendants in your hands."

She smiled at the faith her mother had in her. "That is not it Mother. It's about Father."

All playfulness left her mother's expression, leaving only the face of the Thunder Emperor. Her mother was rather obsessed with her father, even now. "Oh?" Sylvia sounded out dangerously. Her mother didn't like speaking about her father, Sarion, much. It brought out too much pain, especially in Spiritual Lifeforms such as them, as memories are always fresh.

Perhaps it was the curse of power. There was always a price to power, always.

Her mother was forced to relive every painful moment of sweet bliss that she once had, only to be forced back to reality. She herself never met her father, and had grown up under the strict guidance of her mother, always having to bear the weight of the countless expectations that were placed upon her.

She had only known her father by the stories told of him, but she could understand her mother's reaction.

Milim Nava lost everything she knew and loved. There were countless such stories among the powerful.

"I've learned of his fate, Mother."

Sylvia blinked in confusion. "His fate? He was believed to be dead Elmesia. The Chaos Dragons power was so great that even I could not fight it without preparation. Are you telling me this is incorrect?" Sylvia asked as she kept the hope out of her voice.

Back then, her mother was not able to help her father in time as she was busy with other matters. Her father didn't want to see more dead, and so he rushed out, leaving her mother to return a widow.

"Father… it seems he was saved after falling to the Chaos Dragon, but it came at a cost."

Her mother looked at her without blinking, waiting for her to continue. "Demon Lord Kazalim saved him, reviving him as one of her subordinates. The cost of this, however, was losing his memories."

All of a sudden, an uncontrollable release of furious power erupted from Sylvia like a storm breaking free of its shackles. It was as if the very air trembled under the weight of her wrath, crackling with electric fury. She wouldn't be surprised to see storms gathering above the entire nation of Sarion due to her mother's anger.

Elmesia barely had time to react before she instinctively called upon her own Aura, which absorbed the majority of the impact of her mother's rage. Even then, the sheer intensity of her mother's unleashed energy sent shockwaves rippling through her defenses, causing her body to twitch slightly.

There was a deafening roar of thunder echoed through the chamber as jagged arcs of violet lightning surged outward from her body, striking the marble floor and leaving behind smoldering scorch marks.

"Ah, I'll have to get that fixed." She murmured as she waited for her mother to calm down. When her mother got angry, it was best to just let her cool off on her own.

The walls groaned under the pressure, and the ornate chandelier above swayed dangerously as the entire chamber seemed to be caught in the eye of a furious tempest. The scent of ozone thickened in the air. It was as if she was sitting in front of a force of nature.

Moments like these reminded her of the sheer power her mother wielded. She wasn't the True Ancestor of the Elves for nothing.

Then, just as suddenly as it had come, the raging storm ceased. The oppressive weight of her mother's power receded, pulled back under control with incredible precision. The violent lightning that had threatened to consume everything around Elmesia vanished into nothingness, leaving behind only the faint hum of residual energy crackling through the air, and of course the damage to the room.

She took a deep breath. "I apologize Elmesia, it seems I lost some of my control." Her mother said with clenched fists.

"It is fine mother."

"Elmesia." Sylvia's voice was tight, barely restrained. "You will tell me everything. Now."

Elmesia nodded, gathering her thoughts. "As I said, Demon Lord Kazalim revived him, but without his memories. He became… someone else. He was remade, reforged into a new being. He formed a new family, one of friends as he worked to accomplish someone else's dream."

Sylvia's fingers twitched against the table, sparks of lightning dancing around them. "Who was he?" She demanded.

Elmesia hesitated for a moment before uttering the name. "The one known as Laplace, the Wonder Pierrot of the Moderate Harlequins. Or that was what he was once known as."

Silence.

Then, suddenly, a sharp burst of laughter.

It took Elmesia a second to realize it was her mother laughing, but there was no humor in it. It was the laugh of someone who was just done with everything.

"My beloved…" Sylvia whispered, her voice wavering. "That fool… He's alive? And serving under that wretched Kazalim who I thought dead?"

Elmesia shook her head. "Not anymore. Kazalim has been taken care of according to my own knowledge, and I trust Felix with it."

"Those Demon Lords are also involved?" Her mother asked.

She nodded. "They are the reason I was able to find out. Laplace had attacked the Founding Festival of Tempest. However, Rimuru and Felix spared him after learning about his history out of respect for our nation. They are willing to return him to our custody."

A genuine smile of happiness formed on her mother's face. "Ara, it seems these Demon Lords aren't as bad as they used to be then. I was worried I would have to ruin your alliance with them and kill off a few of their cities."

She sighed. "Mother, you must remember that he's not the man you once knew. He doesn't remember you, doesn't remember anything, not even himself."

Sylvia clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palm. "Then I'll make him remember."

Elmesia smiled. "That is what I was hoping for. If anyone is capable of it, then it is you."

"Where is he now?"

"He is in the custody of Luminous Valentine. You see, he may have spurred her anger, and Luminous wished to get some of her anger out on the one responsible for her anger." She said with a wince.

Sylvia's eyes narrowed dangerously as lightning seemed to spark within them. "Oh?"

"But I have been assured that no true harm has been done to him! They have no reason to throw everything in the mud after getting so far. They could have just kept everything hidden from me after all."

Her mother sighed. "I suppose this will be his punishment for his foolishness then."

"I will contact Felix to see if he is able to retrieve Laplace. He seems closer to Luminous and will be able to abate whatever anger she may have."

Sylvia nodded.

Her lips twitched as she was forced to contact Felix so soon after he toyed with her form. The sensations still lingered on her Spiritual Body. He used some sort of bullshit Pleasure Magic that made it last even now.

Thankfully, Felix's territory wasn't too far from her own, keeping him well within her range.

"Elmesia? What's up?" Felix said as the Thought Communication connected. Though she could sense a hint of amusement in his tone.

Bastard.

"Felix, would you be able to retrieve Laplace? My mother has been found and wishes to see him. We can also discuss the price."

"Ah that? I already have Laplace with me. Luminous got bored of him. I can bring him to you now if you want. I planned to visit you soon anyway to talk about him."

A smile curled at her lips. How convenient. "Oh, what did you wish to speak about?" She asked.

"I'll leave that as a surprise."

Elmesia rolled her eyes, but there was an undeniable spark of curiosity in her chest. "You do enjoy these kinds of things don't you?"

"Of course." He mused. "It's far more fun when you're impatient."

She huffed, crossing her arms. "Just bring Laplace already."

"I'm coming."

She felt the link fade, but his teasing words lingered, leaving her wondering just what kind of "surprise" Felix had. She would forever deny the part of her that seemed hopeful that it was something that would make those sensations even more vibrant.

She looked back at her mother. "He is on his way with Laplace."

Her mother didn't respond as the grin on her face only grew.

"Mother?"

"Fufufu, so this is the man that has been in your head? That expression on your face is rather telling. I recall wearing the same expression as Sarion drove me mad with his shenanigans."

"N-Nothing like that mother!" She denied as she suppressed the way her body reacted.

Before her mother could respond a portal formed in the room they were in.

Ah, she just realized she didn't give Felix her coordinates. Did he manage to discover her location through the Thought Communication?

Felix stepped forward through the portal, hands casually tucked in his coat. It was always a coat with him, she thought it looked good though.

He scanned the room, his eyes lingering on her own form which caused a pleasant shiver to travel through her body, something her mother clearly noticed going by the shit-eating grin on her face. Felix's gaze eventually traveled to Sylvia. Unlike with her, his gaze seemed to be far more chaste and respectful.

"Ah, you must be the legendary True Ancestor of the Elves, Sylvia El Ru. A pleasure to meet you." He said as he kneeled, kissing her hand.

Her lips twitched. He never did anything like that with her!

Her mother raised a hand to cover her mouth. "Ara, ara. What a gentleman. It seems the Demon Lords have become a more respectable bunch. You must be Felix White then."

Felix laughed as he stood back up. "That would be me, and I'm one of the few respectable ones among the current Demon Lord Council."

"Fufufufu."

"Ghahaha."

They both laughed in unison.

Elmesia sighed. "Can we return to the topic at hand?" She interrupted, denying that she was upset they were excluding her.

Her mother's smile faded into a more serious expression. "Indeed. I have heard that my husband is in your possession?" Her mother said as she gestured to a seat.

Felix nodded as he took the offered seat. "Indeed, you could say he's in a spatial storage of some kind with me."

Her mother smiled dangerously. "Excellent. What would it take to give him to us."

She sighed. She should have expected as much from her mother though. It was honestly a show of sheer willpower that her mother hadn't immediately appeared above Felix's territory and demanded her father.

Author's Note:

Hey there everyone, back with another chapter of Daemon. I'm going with a bit of a slow burn route with Elmesia, something a bit different than what I usually do if you don't count Luminous.

The Life Reconstruction for Saeko, Kurumi, and Raiden is finally wrapped up. All three of them have grown quite strong, soon enough they'll be ready for an Ultimate Skill and will get even stronger. My goal is to buff em up beyond what they were in canon, and I'm well on my way to that.

In this chapter we are finally introduced to Elmesia's mother that has been spoken about quite a bit.

Anyways thanks for reading, peace.

Thanks to @Salante and @Flowerman for beta'ing this chapter.
