Inside the government office, a man in a sharp suit watched the frantic energy of his colleagues with keen eyes. Morgan Kane, a low-level aide with a secret allegiance to the city's most dangerous mafia, had successfully embedded himself in the system, learning everything he could about the old relic's, as it was not only the Govt. involved in this, many people were curious about it after the fiasco that went down because of one, which caused the govt. to take notice of these relic's. What he hadn't mentioned was that he had arranged numerous tiny tracking device onto some old relic's marked from that time he could find before govt agancies started moving them.
(and from the look of it, one of them have left its sanctuary and nobody is none the wiser)
he excused himself from the office, and walked down the stairs typing on his phone,
-i have a lead, gather the boys, they should move incognito, it hunting time.
On the other side of this message, a man witha scar on his face, looked at the message and whistled shouting someone name,
"Marco, Marco..."
as bullets and loud laughter erupted from the streets, Marco smiled to himself, playing with girls when he heard his name, he looked up and saw the man calling and went to his side,
"Boss what can i do for you"
"gather the boys, were going somewhere....."
"okay boss"
20 mintues later, marco and the crew met up with morgan, Morgan looked at them and pointed at an apartment, saying
"u see that house, go in and go out, be quick all u need there is a rusty old pocket watch, u hear me, i dont u to spend 20 mintues tops there"
"on it" marco and the crew responded.
Meanwhile, at Ethan's apartment, the peaceful night was shattered by the sharp sound of breaking glass. Startled awake, Ethan shot up in bed, his heart racing. He strained to hear, the silence of the night now replaced by muffled voices and the heavy thud of footsteps outside his window.
"What was that?" he murmured to himself, wincing as he swung his legs over the side of the bed.
His heart dropped as he caught sight of a shadowy figure outside his window, crouching low and holding what looked like a gun. Fear gripped him as he ducked behind his bed. This is it. This is how it ends.
Suddenly, a flurry of wings burst through the air a bird swooping past his window. The unexpected movement startled the man outside, causing his finger to pull on the trigger. The gunshot rang out, piercing the quiet of the night. Ethan barely had a moment to process what happened before adrenaline surged through him.
He bolted from his room and rushed toward the back door, his mind racing. *I need to get out—now!*
