Jack distractedly thought as he floated in the purified water. This time, the water was calm, as it should be, if not for living beings own desire to torture themselves and leave the place they were unsatisfied with to climb higher.
The leisure to let his mind wander afforded him a much needed comfort after he had played being though many floors below. But as a light blue smoke came in to taint the water with its vivid color, he snapped out of his comfortable reverie, and pulled his lind back to the reason he was floating in one of the rooms on the upper floor of the pit.
At the same time, the choice he had been considering for the past month came to block his thoughts, like a path with as many branches as the possible answers to the question.
