All the high goblins that were still alive were actually Zarnak's direct descendants. He had never told them this.
He did not want to put more weight on their shoulders.
If they knew they came from the last ruling family, some of them would think it was their duty to reclaim the old kingdom.
Zarnak did not want that. He wanted them to let go of the past and live normal lives.
"I will leave Petricia here then," Alex said.
"Tell her when you have chosen and are ready.
I will wait outside."
He thought it was better to stay away from the area. Many goblins would probably hate them.
Staying here would also make Emily more depressed, so leaving was the better choice.
Alex stood up and prepared to walk out, but Zarnak stopped him.
"Hunter, you have not told me your name."
"Just call me Alex," he said. "What do you want to talk about?
I doubt you can tell me anything useful."
"I have two more requests."
Alex frowned, but he motioned for Zarnak to continue.
