Arc had to admit, it was funny seeing Raven on the backfoot.
She knew what they were talking about, and she was resisting the instinct to just walk away, but stars, it was too hilarious to interrupt. But her growing laughter did the interrupting for her, fed by Owyn's honest confusion and Raven's indignant fury. The contrast between them tickled her through the threads connecting them more thickly than they had before, such that even when she closed her eyes, she could perceive them.
When silence finally broke out, both of them staring at her, she came up, wiping her eyes. "Let's just go shopping. I'm glad we cleared the air a bit, but we really shouldn't be talking about this stuff out on the street. Okay?"
Raven pounced on the option to take their conversation elsewhere, which was how, a short walk later, the three of them wound up in Little Hell's shop district.
