The initial effects were remarkable; not only did Stan take a bullet himself, but his subordinates suffered over 20 casualties. Yet, after eight in the morning, the Blood Gate people withdrew from Fuyuki City, abandoning Su Xiao, this seemingly at-hand target that could never be corralled.
Everyone in Blood Gate was bewildered as to how there could be such a sniper in the world. They've encountered snipers stronger than Su Xiao numerous times, but never before have they lost so many people to a single sniper. The reason was simple: Su Xiao seemed to have pinpointed their location, leaving the detection-type Contractors of Blood Gate worried sick. No matter how they searched, they couldn't figure out how Su Xiao detected their positions.
