The main building of this hospital has a short cross structure, with the explosion point on the right side. The entire right half of the hospital collapsed with a roar, and the right wall of the room they were in was also blown out.
This was obviously a calculated precision detonation, because the room they were in did not collapse, only two walls came down, exposing the entire room.
The powerful blast of air slammed everyone against the wall, even Diana and Arthur were not spared. But this obviously didn't cause them any harm, and they immediately got back up.
Diana once again swung her sword towards Amanda, her attack was quick and sharp. Amanda had no time to spare or think about why there was a sudden explosion, and could only engage in combat with her again.
Meanwhile, Arthur, who was up against Damian and Steve, was showing signs of weakness. He clearly seemed unable to cope with the two of them. Because they were on land, his weapon was useless, and he was only relying on the physical strength of the Atlanteans to withstand the fight. But Damian's combat skills were quite high, and Arthur was being pushed back again and again.
"Hang in there! Arthur! Hal and the others are almost here!" Diana shouted towards Arthur.
Upon hearing this, Amanda became nervous. The Green Lantern was the hardest to deal with, and she immediately turned her head and shouted towards Bruce: "Charge in!"
After saying this, she punched Diana away and rushed towards the bedroom of the suite. Damian also pushed Arthur out through the cracked opening of the room, causing him to fall straight down. A few people rushed into the ward and saw the pale-faced Superman sitting there.
Amanda was shocked and couldn't help but roar: "Wasn't he supposed to be dying?!"
Damian snorted disdainfully and said: "How do you know that an alien who's dying would be bedridden like a human? Fool!"
After saying this, he turned his head to look at Bruce, and to his surprise, Bruce was even more decisive, raising his gun and shooting. With a "bang", a bullet glowing green shot directly into Clark's body.
But Clark was clearly prepared, as he rolled to the side, preventing the bullet from hitting his skull, and instead it struck his right shoulder. Bruce then fired another shot, this time hitting the chest cavity directly.
Yet Clark still had strength left, and lasers swept over. Everyone dodged in succession. Just at this moment, with a "boom", the wall of the living room also collapsed, and Hal, glowing all over with a green light, floated in the air, with a green lantern energy cannonball blasting Damian, who was approaching Clark, flying away.
Amanda, seeing the situation was not good, rolled to the side to dodge. But Hal dove down and kicked her in the buttocks, slamming her against the wall. He then condensed green lantern energy into a whip and lashed Steve flying.
Hal rampaged among the crowd, protecting Clark tightly. Amanda, who had fallen from the wall, covered her chest and coughed violently a few times, almost gnashing her teeth. Just a little more, just a little more!
If that damn green bastard hadn't come, they definitely could have killed Superman!
As she got up, Victor also arrived. His mechanical eye suddenly lit up, and a laser pierced through Amanda's chest.
Amanda let out a painful roar, but didn't fall to the ground like a human. Suddenly, she emitted a sharp, ear-piercing scream, and her skin began to lose color, turning a zombie-like gray-blue, with corpse spots covering her body, and her pupils flashing blood red.
Shiller laughed silently, waiting for this!
Amanda's hands turned into cold claws, directly grabbing towards Hal in front of her. Hal dared not take it lightly, and dodged into the air, but Amanda also followed and took flight.
Barry, who had just arrived, inhaled sharply. A blue flash of lightning passed by, and Barry and Hal instantly appeared dozens of meters away.
"Something's not right," Hal said, "the air is getting colder."
As he said this, white mist was already coming from his mouth. Although it was winter, the heating inside the hospital was very adequate, and even if it was blown open, the heat had not yet dissipated. But at this moment, the temperature dropped by more than ten degrees, chilling people to the bone.
Shiller lightly twitched his nose, he smelled a putrid odor. This smell usually represents death, but it wasn't simple decay, it was mixed with a more ominous undertone.
At this time, Shiller noticed that Damian's expression was also very shocked, seemingly surprised by Amanda's transformation. The flicker of fear in his eyes did not escape Shiller. Damian even took two steps back, maintaining his distance.
Steve also stayed far away, almost jumping out from the opening next to the hospital. Only Amanda was going crazy in the field, scratching at the people around her.
The few members of the Justice League were very cautious, nobody made close contact with her. But letting it go on like this was not a solution, because Amanda was already heading towards Clark.
Clark stayed where he was, still looking weak. Diana gave Victor a meaningful glance. Victor took a deep breath, data flowing in his eyes, the power of the Mother Box slowly spreading, and the world's data unfolded before his eyes.
All of Amanda's data was recorded, although it was not understandable now, it could be analyzed later. Victor first tried to modify Amanda's position. A faint white glow emerged around Amanda, and then her whole being seemed to be like wallpaper being peeled off the wall, suddenly appearing in a different location.
Diana breathed a sigh of relief, it was fortunate that the power of the Mother Box was effective on Amanda. This proved that the Mother Box power was likely equal to or higher than the power of death.
Then Hal followed, with a rich green glow appearing on his fist, and then swung a punch towards Amanda's back. With a "bang", Amanda was knocked flying, but was not harmed.
"Suppress her!" Diana shouted.
Hal also realized that such a simple clash of powers was meaningless. He needed to invade with force. So he boldly advanced, grabbed Amanda from behind, and a burst of green light erupted.
"Bang," Hal flew backward. Diana immediately tensed up, but Hal waved at her, mouthing: It's effective.
Indeed, the temperature on the scene slightly rose, and the corruptive aura wasn't as thick. However, this didn't completely suppress Amanda, indicating that Green Lantern energy might be at the same level as this power.
"Zila," a blue lightning flashed. Amanda barely had time to react before feeling a touch on her shoulder. Barry then appeared on the other side and shook his head at the crowd.
Barry couldn't bring Amanda into Divine Speed, possibly due to incompatibility, or perhaps Divine Speed wasn't superior to this Power of Death, leading to an inability to interfere.
"It's just about enough," Batman's voice came from Shiller's phone, "find a way to get her out."
"Why don't you come and give it a try?" Shiller asked.
"No need," Batman said, "better let your friends have a go."
"That's exactly my thought."
Shiller looked at Bruce. Bruce had already put away his gun. He glanced around and said, "Not here, find a way to get her to the sea."
"Victor!" Shiller shouted.
Victor nodded, white light flaring from him again. "Zila," the Sonic Channel opened, and everyone was transported to the nearby sea surface, including Amanda.
On the sea, they were in Arthur's territory. He raised the golden trident and struck first, the sea began to tremble, waves raging furiously.
The endless seawater engulfed Amanda, encasing her completely in a water sphere. The power of life evolution began to act; almost instantly, the cold vanished. But the corruptive aura still clung as a shadow, not diminishing.
Suddenly, Arthur fell. Diana hurriedly flew over to catch him. Diana waved at him, saying, "Indeed, the power of life can restrain the power of death. But this thing is too stubborn; I don't have enough energy."
With Arthur withdrawing his power, the temperature began to drop again, a thin layer of ice formed over the sea surface. The water was no longer turbulent, and dead fish began floating to the surface, emitting a strong stench of rot that was deeply unsettling.
Shiller looked at Bruce. Bruce raised a hand, enveloping Amanda in dense power of darkness. But shortly, he gently shook his head, saying, "No, completely incompatible, these are two different things."
"Can you suppress her?"
Bruce squinted, seemingly adding some force, then nodded, saying, "Barely. But what she possesses isn't origin power; if it were, it'd be hard to say."
The power of darkness then dispersed. A strand of light flashed in Bruce's eyes, and for a moment, it seemed as though wings appeared behind him. A beam of Holy Light descended upon the world, making Amanda finally let out a scream.
Bruce quickly withdrew his power. However, Amanda's skin had already started peeling away layer by layer, the rotting odor growing even stronger, mixed with a scent of blood and burnt flesh, resembling a crematorium all at once.
"Holy Power can restrain," Bruce said, "Looks like I'll also have to play the old ox."
Just then, Shiller frowned. He caught a whiff of an unusual scent. Something seemed to be churning on Amanda's body, an invisible force spreading out. Almost instantly, the seawater turned black, and the sky dimmed.
"Stop him," Shiller said. Everyone knew he wasn't referring to Amanda, but rather to the entity behind her. That entity seemed determined to breakthrough and truly set sights here.
Superman arrived late but launched an attack as swift as thunder. Laser beams struck with full force, a massive column of light descended and hit Amanda's head, the astounding heat boiling the seawater within a thousand meters.
Amanda let out another scream. This time, her remaining flesh was completely stripped away, revealing white bones, unable to maintain her flying posture, and fell towards the sea.
Arthur seized the opportunity and raised the trident again, the seawater, as if alive, pulled her down. Under the pressure of the laser-induced massive rift in the seabed, the sea gradually closed in, completely engulfing Amanda. The cold and rotting aura nearly disappeared.
"Is she dead?" Barry asked.
Arthur shook his head, then said, "To be precise, she's been dead for a while. What we have now is just a moving corpse. We can't kill her again, only temporarily trap her."
Barry looked at Bruce again. He clearly saw that the white beam Bruce summoned caused great harm to Amanda. Bruce shook his head, saying, "Even if I destroy this body, another will crawl out."
The atmosphere turned somewhat heavy because everyone realized the hardest thing about dealing with this enemy was that he couldn't be killed.
No one knows what he based the revival on, or how many corpses he can revive. If every body he controls can't be completely resolved, Earth will eventually be inundated by these spirits.
