Chapter 85 - Cold Thunder Knight in the Tomb

"Good heavens!"

Night Three More saw a wooden coffin being kicked open, and then a withered black hand stretched out from the edge. His eyes widened in surprise.

 Are they really zombies?!

Seeing more than ten coffins being opened one after another, and thin bodies extending their arms, Night Three More did not hesitate to turn around and flee.

Even though he was undead too, who knows what these zombies are like? What's their combat power?

And even if he had to fight, wouldn't it be more comfortable to run back above the church and pick them off one by one?

However, when he turned around and glanced, he found that the first zombie to climb out seemed to...

 Be stuck?

The holes dug on both sides of the corridor were just enough for the coffins to squeeze through. The remaining space was only about a fist high. So, when the zombies pushed open the coffin lids, they awkwardly got stuck inside. They couldn't climb out; they couldn't even sit up.

Seeing the zombies banging their heads against the walls of the tomb niches, unable to come out, Night Three More couldn't help but stop in his tracks.

Scratching his head, Night Three More waved his hand, leaving only two of his skeleton soldiers outside to stand guard. The rest were all brought down.

Since the opponent presented an opportunity...

 "Chase!"

Night Three More gave the order, with Dong Chen leading the way, followed by Lao Gu, and then a group of marching skeleton swordsmen.

This underground tomb surprisingly had no side passages. It happened to be convenient for Night Three More, saving him the trouble of deciding which path to take.

However, after chasing for about a kilometer, Night Three More's speed slowed down.

He looked at the tomb niches on the side and counted.

"Five, six... seventeen rows? It seems like there were only seven rows of tomb niches at the beginning. Is this corridor getting deeper underground?!"

Moreover, the temperature around seemed to have dropped significantly. Some coffins even had ice crystals hanging on them.

 "Cough!"

Night Three More's ears moved, and the suppressed cough came again, sounding much closer. He rubbed his temples.

 "Is this leading me there?"

But thinking that he had made a trip for just a few fish, and the opponent not only controlled zombies but also shielded from the investigation of the Holy Silver Church, it made him uneasy.

If he also had this ability, would he no longer be restricted by soul energy?

"Lao Gu, get closer to me. The others continue to chase!"

After making a decision, Night Three More drew his long sword and continued to explore. However, after walking three or four hundred meters, a domed hall suddenly appeared at the end of the corridor.

This was a spacious hall with a height of twenty meters and a width of more than eighty meters. Various ice-blue magic runes were depicted on the walls, occasionally flashing a faint light.

In the center of the hall was a huge and luxurious stone coffin. The coffin lid was half-slanted, revealing the purple silk pad inside, as well as half of the buttocks and a long spear handle behind the coffin.

 Night Three More:...

 "Come out! I've seen you!"

"Hmph! I didn't expect to be discovered like this! You're indeed a formidable opponent!"

A voice of regret came from behind the coffin, and then a man in blue and silver armor, wearing a heavy helmet that even covered his eyes, stood up.

 A knight?

Night Three More frowned, looking at the two-meter-long sword-spear in his hand. The heavy blade emitted a blue light, similar to a machete but with a spear handle. There was also a large and shiny purple gem embedded in the hilt.

Licking his lips, Night Three More, hidden beside Lao Gu, asked sternly, "Who are you?"

"I am Shavun, the son of Thunderlord Shazan, and the Frost Thunder Knight Shavun. And who are you?"

The knight looked at the group of goblins surrounding him with a cross spear in hand.

 Thunderlord?

Night Three More frowned. Although Thunderlord was the administrative center of the Thunder Territory, the people in this city had evacuated long ago. Why would the son of the lord still be here?

"I don't believe it! Are those zombies outside your doing? How could a human like you control the undead?" Night Three More questioned angrily.

 "I'm not undead!"

It seemed that Night Three More's words stung him. The knight suddenly took off his helmet to explain.

Instantly, a perfect and flawless face appeared, making even Night Three More jealous. Silver-white hair reflected a touch of charm, a slender face outlined masculine features, and the light blue pupils were as clear and bright as gems.

Coupled with a height of nearly two meters, if it were a girl, she would probably scream in excitement.

"Hiss, there's actually a man in this world who looks only half a point worse than me!"

After adjusting his focus, Night Three More carefully felt it and indeed didn't find any trace of undead aura from him.

 Could he be a human?

"What are you doing here? And what's the matter with those zombies?" Night Three More asked.

 "Cough!"

Shavun coughed heavily, then raised his chin.

"Why should I tell you? You haven't told me who you are... Wait a minute, with so many goblin warriors, are you a human traitor? A shaman of the orc tribe?"

His eyes widened, Shavun grabbed his sword-spear.

"Have the orcs already attacked Thunderlord City?!"

 Orcs?

Night Three More widened his eyes. Thunderlord City was the administrative center of the Thunder Territory. But the people of this city had evacuated long ago, so why would there be the son of the lord left behind?

"I don't discern, which means you accept. As the son of Thunderlord Shazan, I, Shavun, will never let him lose face. Come on, draw your sword! Let me see your strength!"

Night Three More rubbed his temples.

Is this guy out of his mind? If that's the case, then...

 "Charge!"

Taking a step back, Night Three More directly waved his hand, commanding the goblin skeletons to attack Shavun.

 "You shameless!"

Apparently not expecting the opponent to refuse his solo challenge and instead send his subordinates, Shavun was instantly furious.

He swung his sword-spear, knocking three goblin skeletons away. Then, crossing his hands, he blocked the frontal attacks of the other goblins.

His blue eyes flickered, and a cold air suddenly emanated from his armor. It was like blue flames. With a crisp sound, the knives attacking him shattered upon contact with the armor.

 "Hmph! Cannon fodder!"

However, before he could raise his nose, Shavun's face suddenly changed. Why hadn't those goblins, who were known for their timidity, been scared off by his freezing armor? They were still daring to attack?

 "

Not good!"

Overestimating his coolness, Shavun was momentarily caught off guard. Just as he was about to react, four goblin skeletons holding the handles of their knives jumped high and smashed them down on his waist.

It was the only combat skill of the goblin skeletons:

 Flowing Strike!
