I immediately tensed, looking at the others. They were all similarly tensed, Aoife and Kiera moving to shield Leon's recovering body while Anne moved in front of An'as.
'Given my current situation, there's no way I can put up a proper fight if they're monsters. Are we going to have to run away again?'
That was my initial thought.
But soon, I realized something.
"They're humans."
I could see them clearly now.
The orbs floating inside their bodies.
"...There's no doubt about it, they're human."
I muttered once again, my eyes narrowing as I focused my attention on the orbs in their bodies. With this, I felt a sense of relief. I was out of mana, but Emotive Magic was different. It used minimal mana. In that sense, I could fight.
