I managed to carry Barak out of that district and back into safer territories.
He then climbed into a taxi and I watched him speed off, the sales rep promising to contact me in the future to thank me for this.
I was still standing there wondering if all this was worth it when I felt a presence behind me.
Turning back, I found Eleanor floating towards me with a small smile on her lips.
"I would say the last part could use some work… But I'm sure you could have handled it even without my help. So, well done."
I raised an eyebrow at her, "Thanks, I guess? Were you following me the entire time or something? Because I feel you appeared at quite a convenient time."
"Perhaps," She answered vaguely, not willing to elaborate.
"Right… So what are you doing here? Somehow I doubt that you really just came here just to make sure that I completed this job that you gave me."
