The director felt very sorry: "I didn't know Xinxin would make such a request, putting you both in a difficult position."
Xinxin, the little girl who made the request, was only five years old.
Xiao Lang laughed and said: "It's okay. I was the one who agreed first, it's not their fault. Besides, this request isn't that hard, right?"
The last two words, he directed at Li Mingxi.
Li Mingxi could only nod: "Yes, it is."
Xiao Lang's smile deepened: "Then we'll come to pick up Xinxin tomorrow, are you free?"
"Sure." Li Mingxi nodded with a forced smile.
She wasn't afraid to be Xinxin's 'mom' for a day, but she did mind that Xinxin's 'dad' was Xiao Lang.
However, there was nothing she could do since the child had chosen them.
...
Walking out of the orphanage, Xiao Lang said: "Let me give you a lift."
The hospital car had already gone, and Li Mingxi didn't drive.
"No need, I'll take a cab."
"We could discuss what to do tomorrow."
Li Mingxi had no choice but to get into his car.
