Li Qian quietly accompanied her, always feeling that Li Mingxi was another version of him.
They both harbored a lot of helplessness, pain, and heartache.
Yet, their helplessness was something they couldn't share with anyone...
Li Mingxi drank a lot, eventually drinking until she threw up.
The sky grew darker, and finally, nothing could be seen.
Li Qian called his subordinates to come and drive. When his subordinate arrived, he helped Li Mingxi into his car.
The two cars left the seaside together.
Li Mingxi was completely drunk, and she did it on purpose. Drunk meant she wouldn't have to grapple with whether to meet Xiao Lang.
But deep down, she never really forgot about it.
"I want to find Xiao Lang... take me... take me..."
She hazily tugged at Li Qian's arm, and he asked her earnestly, "Do you really want to go? If you want to go, I'll take you."
Li Mingxi shook her head, "No, I won't go... I don't want to go..."
"Are you going or not?"
"I want to go!"
